Let's get one thing out of the way first; not every superhero movie is going to be The Dark Knight. Having said that, this movie was fun. I didn't mind the runtime and was never bored. The special effects were good. The comic bits were decent. Overall it was what I've come to expect from a Marvel Universe movie.

And the final bit with Kit Harrington makes me excited for the second installment.

Don't listen to the bad reviews, if you are looking for a fun movie do give it a try.

The movie is a nice one time watch; much more of a mystery thriller than horror.

What I liked most about the movie is it depicts religion. How 'devout' religious men are the most dangerous and merciless people.

Firstly the Christians want to raid a village just because they are supposedly worshipping some other God. Then Sean Bean knowingly takes the plague to the village. The Christians murder the whole village which never did anything wrong. And lastly that weasel monk becomes a witch hunter and wrongfully murders many women just because he couldn't get laid.

I know the movie is not a real story, but I think it accurately depicts the lunacy of religion.

For the movie as a cinematic experience I rate it 7/10; for the depiction of religion 9/10.

So many mistakes; 1)unconvincing character development (a hardcore traditionalist making a total U-turn in one meeting with a girl)

2)a very flawed love story (how can anyone fall in love so quickly with someone who has publicly insulted your parents)

3)is getting a job so easy in India that one can organize a interschool sports meet and the winner gets appointed

4)there are easier and safer ways to get your athletes motivated than to intentionally let them get chased by dogs

5)The Heroin and hero's father threatening the student's parents to let them play in the 'tournament' . Which teacher does that? Is that even right ethically?

Overall a one time watch, masala feel good movie, just don't use your brain too much

Having read the reviews I had high hopes of this anthology. As the consensus seems to be that season 2 is the best and seasons are not interconnected, atleast not in a larger sense, so I started off with season 2. The beginning was good, I'd say upto the sixth episode but then it lost the plot. It became funny for a seasoned horror enthusiast like me. There's no law;everyone is being admitted to the same asylum;no patient seems to have any family;Sister Jude is admitted to the asylum;Kit returns to the asylum as it was his grandmother's house;One moment Kit is afraid of the electric chair/death,the next he is ready to let the doctor stop his heart so that contact with aliens can be made..... There are many other loopholes. This is the only season I'll complete, because if this is the best, I don't want to risk wasting my time on the others.
