Horrible, but for some reason I watched the next one
22 March 2012
Warning: Spoilers
I'm very open minded, but this movie was shot like a porn, without much actual sex. What can I say? Let's see, the enemies on another planet are using Vietnam era AK47s, people shooting at each other from 10 feet away cant seem to hit one another. Wasn't the floating creature with one eyeball toward the end stolen from Carpenter's Big Trouble in Little China? I don't even understand why ut was added to the film since it only appeared once for a few seconds.

As bad as this was, it had some kind of hook that got me to watch the sequel? If you are looking fir Starship troopers or Aliens, don't look here. But, if you are looking for something to make you laugh or act as background noise while you doing something else, than this is it.

What a piece of Garbage!!
26 February 2008
I am a big fan of low budget horror movies like this, but come on! This has to be the worst piece of monkey S@#t I have ever seen! I ignored the reviews posted on this site figuring that it would fall into my taste in horror, but I got bored and turned it off.Let's see:

The wardrobe: Consisted of cheap cameo outfits and painters outfits from home depot. The masks were made from what looks like tin foil.

The Gore: The Gore was pretty good, I must give it that. But Ittenbach's Burning moon was better for a low budget movie.

Acting: Was horrible! I didn't mind the dubbing. I find this humorous like in Ittenbach's "Premutos" (great movie). The fighting and action sequences were pi$$ poor.

Bottom line: Don't watch any of Schnaas's movies. There are much better directors like Jorg Buttergeit and Olaf Ittenbach with movies of the same gore and subject matter. Check Premutos, House of blood, Schramm and the nekromantiks.

Ax 'Em (1992)
Are you kidding???

Warning: Spoilers
Many of the greatest horror movies have been made with low budgets but this is the biggest piece of garbage I have ever seen!

With no plot what-so-ever and film quality that resembles a cross between a webcam and a sony handycam, I would like to know what company would ever endorse this movie and furthermore, how did it make its way into Blockbuster?

**possible spoiler**

To sum it up in a nutshell, the "2 live crew" goes camping at a retarded serial killer's house. This movie is so cheap that they didn't proofread the intro paragraph. My girlfriend and I counted 3 typo's and a double negative!

If you would like to see gory, low budget films that did have a plot and made sense, get ahold of some Lucio Fulci Zombi movies or Scalps. Only watch this if you want to die of laughter.
