I was asked to go see this movie in the theater although I did want to see it. The movie had a great cast and the action was few and far between. But I was not impressed. I like rated R films but in this movie they overused the F and S words and were using them in almost every sentence. I like all of Mark Wahlberg's films and although he can be kind of corny at times this movie was not one of his best. I did enjoy how Giovanni Ribisi played the brother that screws up a heist and his brother has to come out of retirement in Gone in 60 Seconds, and in this film he plays the antagonist. That is basically how this movie begins. I didn't enjoy Kate Beckinsale in this film either she needs to stick with "The Underworld" films since that is what she is good at. Not worth the $12 at the theater, wait till it is on Netflix or someone else rents it.

For those of you that were too young to see this when it first came out you must see this before you kick the bucket as they say. Keep in mind that this film is 50 percent nudity and 50 percent suspense. So don't watch it with your parents and definitely don't let your grandmother watch it. Michael Douglas and Sharon Stone make a great protagonist and antagonist respectively. It also helps that Sharon Stone looks her best. The movie is full of twists and suspense and a who done it all the way through to the end. This movie is twenty years old now and can still hold water to any thriller released today. I cant speak to the sequel "Basic Instinct 2," as I have yet to see it but I plan on checking it out in the near future.

This is a great series thanks to Mark Wahlberg and Martin Scorses for making a masterpiece together. I was hooked on the very first one and I am itching for more. It blends "the Sopranos" with characters from the prohibition era like "The Untouchables." It is one of Steve Buscemi best characters and he has finally broken out his support roles to become a lead role. If you haven't seen this series you need to start it now and you will be a fan too. Great acting with a superb wardrobe for the times. It also helps that this is an HBO series and they can use the language and nudity necessary to make an entertaining series. I would definitely recommend looking at a character map in order to keep everyone straight and to help remember all of the names and faces.

I rented this movie having never heard of it or seen any preview, and it was awesome. I watched it again when it became available on Netflix. It was even more hilarious the second time. I hate to sound cliché' but this is an instant classic. This movie has everything you could ever want from a hilarious slasher/accident movie. If you like "Shaun of the Dead" you will definitely like this movie. I highly recommend this movie to all who pull for the underdog. I plan on picking this movie up the next time I am in the store and watching it again and again just to catch up on all the parts I have missed during my laughter. A must see and will make a great addition to any collection.

Just finished watching Notorious and I wish I could undo seeing it. I like rap music and all but this movie was awful. I tolerated "Get rich or die trying" and "ATL", but not this one. The actor who played Biggie was not believable at all. The only thing that made it semi watchable was the occasional female nudity. The actor who played tupac also played "Papa Doc" from "8 Mile" and was much better in that movie. This movie was definiely over hyped and over produced. It seemed like they had enough movie to make a great movie, but I just wasn't feeling it from the actors themselves. They need to go back to acting school and relearn the basics.
