His Dark Materials (2019–2022)
8/10
Battle between faith and reason and the complexity of human morality.
6 December 2022
The BBC's Dark Materials series is an ambitious and evocative adaptation of Philip Pullman's classic fantasy trilogy. The show follows the adventures of Lyra Belacqua (Dafne Keen) and Will Parry (Amir Wilson) as they search for answers in a magical universe of witches, armoured polar bears, and mysterious particles known as Dust.

The production values are superb - the show's world is brought to life with stunning visuals and beautiful special effects. The performances are also strong, especially from Keen, who delivers a nuanced and powerful performance as Lyra.

The show also does a great job of capturing the themes of Pullman's books, including the battle between faith and reason and the complexity of human morality. While the story takes some liberties with the original books, it manages to remain faithful to their spirit.

Overall, Dark Materials is a captivating adaptation of Pullman's beloved trilogy. It's visually stunning, powerfully acted, and stays true to the books' themes. It's a must-watch for fans of the original books, and a great introduction to the series for newcomers.

Vikings: Valhalla (2022– )

Old God & The New God
1 March 2022
History Always Written On The Human Heads That Were Chopped Of In The Battles Fought, Sometimes For Some Silly Decisions and Sometimes For The Fulfilment Of Uncontrollable Urge Of Power. Same Is The Case With Vikings Valhalla At least As The Narrative Portrays. Here We've 2 Perspectives One Is To Cease Power and The Second Is The Disbelief In The Past Customs and To Lay a Foundation Of New By Quelling Ones Belief. Or You Can Better Portray It By Saying "Ethnic Cleansing". The Story Progresses Very Fast Especially With The Introduction Of Every new Character You Find It Difficult To Stay Connected With The Storyline and Who's Who. I Must Conclude My Comment Every Major Character Did Justice With The Role, Camera Work Costume, Make Up Department Did Awesome Job, Every Battle Is Portrayed Briefly But You Can Sense The Rawness Of That Era and The Grand Scale. Above All A Nice Sync Between The Storytelling and How You Execute It On Screen. Go Ahead If You Like The Period Drama Series.

My Rating 3.5/5.

"Hawk eye"

There are reality shows and then there is this show. Which is hell lot of realistic at times, you start asking question about what's real and what's fiction. The events and the timelines in which things takes place always took you by surprise. Narrative is very strong so as the characters, every artist justifies his/her role. Screenplay, camera work, background score & yes action are certainly awesome. Finally..! The show could be your this weekends get away.

A train that brings a new destination of pain...!!
6 October 2021
This story starts with incompleteness and also happens to end on a similar note. The storytelling is a bit different as the characters in the story manage to bring us back to dark times and every frame tells you the story of the great ordeal. You will see very long sequences in which there is no dialogue but the storytelling does not even let you crave for dialogues. About the camera, the character development, and the narrative itself Hail the production team for that every episode of a treat to the eyes. And yes sound stage is also one of the specialities, episodes are long and slow, perhaps that is the beauty of the story. If you want to see something good and worth your time devoting, then this series is a must for you.

The Defeated (2020)

Ravelling The Unravelled
19 March 2021
The Story Is Unravelling The Post World War 2 Era Of German Society and Showing Us How Power Vacuum Creates Chaos For Some and Opportunity For Others. The Plot Hits You Directly Yet Successfully Put an Impact On Your Mind. By The Introduction Of Every Character and Every Detail Shown (Sets, Costume, People etc) The Urge To Know More, To See More Getting Even More Stronger. Kudos...!!! Production Team. If We Put Everything Together You Are Going Get A Complete Buffet Of Action, Drama, Emotions and Suspense In One Plate. In My Opinion The Storytelling Is An Art Everyone In Pursuit Of Yet No One Is Perfect Enough To Let You Live The Story By Itself. My Rating 4/5*

The Head (2020– )

No Need To Use Your Head
17 March 2021
From The Very First Episode The Agenda Is Very Clear i.e To Seek Who's Behind All Those Murders. Plot Is Very Straight Forward But Not In A Way You Want Things To Get Unfold. No Twist and Turns. Not Every Character Gets Their Fair Share Of Screen Space. No Character Development Like The Writers Were In Hurry As Series Starts From Middle Of No Where i.e Antarctica. Now, Why To Watch..? Well..!! The Camera Work Is Handy and Lead Characters Could Have Done Better But You Can See The Fair Share Of Mixed Emotions & Act And A Satisfying End.

Drifting Between Past and Present
17 March 2021
The Story Is Somehow Cross Over Between The Past and The Present Of The Lead Character "LUPIN". Writers Successfully Sulk In and Out Of Past and Present. Character Built-up Is Very Subtle. Every Actor Did Justice With Their Characters But Somehow I Expect More From The Lead Character Itself. Just At Some Places I Found The Connect Is Missing Like "How LUPID Did That Thing For Instance". Rest Camera Work, Story Progression and Music Is Satisfactory, Next Instalment Of The Series Is Expected.

Misinterpreted By Many Felt By Some..
10 April 2020
Before seeing this series, I too check many reviews after completed the series I felt many had tried to forcefully fill the review space. The way of saying story is very good, narrative is also good considering the back drop of the period. all the characters are wisely choose, and everyone has done Justice with their roles. Action is very good that you want to see again, one thing that is different is that it is faster than Other series we usually see. Those who wrote that "you cannot connect" I found that wrong. At the end see any series as shown, you shouldn't apply your own brain after that something else will come out.
