Grind (2003)
Good
This movie was a good movie for being a skateboard movie. its about a four kids following their skateboard hero across the country to try and get him to sponsor them on his tour. along the way they run into some problems and some girls. there are also appearances by people from the movie Jackass such as, Bam Margera, Preston Lacy, Wee-man, and "Danger" Erin, also an appearance by Tom Green. The movies soundtrack is what really stuck with me because I didn't see this movie when it came out I saw it a couple years later but over all this movie is was a good movie. it made me laugh and was a make you feel good movie and was really enjoyable to watch.
Beta House (2007)
funny
This movie is not really connected to American Pie it's just presented by American Pie. the only connection is they use the Stifler name. The movie is very funny with crude humor. it's another funny college movie for anyone who is still in college can laugh at and even people who aren't in college can reminisce on their college days. Erik Stifler is joining beta with his friends and they are required to complete a pledge board with funny and random tasks. they then are battling a rival fraternity for dominance on campus and compete in the Greek olympiad. this movie is too good to pass up it's got girls and parties, what more do you need.
American Reunion (2012)
They're back!
This movie was definitely a good idea by the directors. if you haven't seen the first American pies I highly suggest you do before you watch this one. everyone you would remember from the first pie is back. the whole gang comes back for their class reunion and once again some things have changed but some have not. stifler is still stifler and everyone else has done something better with their life. this movie still has the humor that the first three had and still makes you laugh. even though it has the humor it still has the heart that the first three had. I would definitely recommend this movie to anyone but it would be a good idea to watch the first three first to know the stories behind the characters.
The Change-Up (2011)
Funny
This Movie is hilarious even though this same concept has been done before with Freaky Friday. But with a difference it's with two guys one being a bachelor and the other a married man. they both are thrown into worlds that they are not familiar with switching lives. from the very first scene you are able to tell what kind of movie it is with its crude humor they are forced to fight through the others lives until they are able to figure out how to switch back to their regular selves. this is a funny movie with a great comedic duo with Ryan Reynolds and Jason Bateman. also an appearance from Leslie Mann and Olivia Wilde to give this movie a little sexiness. overall this movie is a great movie and will have you laughing for days.
Beer League (2006)
Funny
this movie is hilarious. It really brings about real people in real life situations. Artie Lange is the best thing in this movie he really makes you laugh the entire time being an alcoholic and playing softball. if you've ever played in a slow pitch softball league there are people who are just like him out there and you can really relate to it while watching the movie. New yorkers playing softball doesn't sound to funny but with Artie Lange and Ralph Macchio it couldn't be any funnier. there are some parts that might offend some people so be aware of that. if you're just looking for something to sit back to and just have a good laugh with some friends this is the movie.
Happy Gilmore (1996)
Hilarious
If you're looking for a movie to get you away from everyday life and make you laugh at dumb stuff this is definitely the movie. Adam Sandler is without a doubt a very funny guy. this movie combines hockey and golf. Sandler playing Happy Gilmore is a hockey player but he's playing golf today. trying to save his grandmothers house he is forced to come up with some cash and quick. Shooter McGavin sees Happy as a threat and will do anything get him out of his way of winning a tour title. this movie has everything you're looking for in a movie, Sports, comedy, and a little bit of romance. if you've had a bad week and are looking for an escape from reality this is definitely a good movie to get the job done.
Devil (2010)
it was alright
I watched this movie by myself at night, was not a wise choice. it was an alright movie it kept you engaged in the movie the whole time, trying to guess what was going to happen next and who was doing what. it was definitely a suspenseful movie. I wouldn't pay money to go see this movie but would catch it on HBO or on television. most of this movie is filmed in an elevator made me feel like I was watching Phone Booth. But they make you feel as though you are also in the elevator with them standing in the middle of the action. they use awesome techniques of editing to help build suspense during the entire movie. this movie was an alright movie I would watch it again but just make sure that I had someone to watch with.
Back to the Future (1985)
Still awesome
This movie is magnificent. The directing and actor are superb. originally director Robert Zemeckis had chosen Eric Stoltz to play the part of Marty McFly and I think we're all glad that he then chose Michael J. Fox to play Marty instead. This movie really makes you pay attention to detail and takes you into the realization that Marty is hanging out with his parents when they were kids, and they play off that whole not fitting in with the time with his clothes and making the film funny by talking about him, his family, and the future. This movie shows something that everyone wants to do in their lifetime, which is time travel and this is a great way to show it. Back to the Future is definitely a movie that will never get old and will always be enjoyable.
Transformers: Dark of the Moon (2011)
Awesome!
Transformers Dark of the Moon being the third movie of the Transformers series you wouldn't think it would be as good as the first two, well it is. In this movie Megan Fox is no longer to be seen but we are gifted with a beautiful Rosie Huntington-Whiteley playing along side Shia LaBeouf. This movie added some serious effects to it with the robots. just like the first two it combines an action/love/comedy attribute. The action scenes in this movie are without a doubt awesome. The effects they used are amazing and to sort of let you catch up with whats happening they use slow motion to let you see things that are going on. I like how they've taken something that has actually happened like the moon landing and have put there own twist on what actually was happening. this was a very good movie and would recommend it to anyone interested in seeing robots you played with as kid come to life.
