Virgin River (2019)
Rollercoaster of emotions
I started watching Virgin River as a friend recommended, it many of times so I thought I'm off work not going anywhere, so give it a go.
So pleased I did, a lot of people, will beable to relate to the storylines, how a small town ticks, mental health, from all kind of experiences.
I found myself, laughing, and crying with the characters, loved the choice of music, and the scenery makes you want to go there.
Jack and Mel, Hope, and Doc,Preacher I want to to taste his masterpieces.
Looking forward to series 6 this is like a modern version of little house on the Prarie, instead it a cabin, also hope to see Ricky back in season 6.
Lucifer (2016)
Should have rapped it up on series 4
Only started watching Lucifer a few week ago.
Great stuff, loved the chemistry between the cast, Tom Ellis and D. B. Woodhouse, Lesley -Anne Brandt great team as the Devil team, Lauren German haven't seen her in anything previous but definitely will see her in future outings.
Tricia Helfer, as Charlotte, great, everytime she spoke she reminded me of Jane Fonda, any relation ??.
Lovely seeing Scarlett Estevez growing up on the, over the series, an where would they all be without Rachel Harris,Loved the series, but should have ended with series 4, I think the producers struggled for storylines in 5 I haven't go to S6 yet, don't know if I want to but seeing Tom is from Cardiff got to support our local talent.
The Out-Laws (2023)
And 4 is being really generous,
Pierce Bronsman, must have been bored, broke, or contracted, to do this rubbish.
The other actors I haven't come across them before, but it the credits I notice Adam Sandler was the producer that says it all.
Trying to get a laugh, out of body fluid like vomit snot, says it all.
Never been a lover of American comedy, and this film reminds me why.
Beautiful scenery great costumes, the masks were clever.
I only picked this film as I was searching through Netflix as I had nothing better to do should have turned over and watch re runs of Columbo.
But lesson learned American comedies associated with Adam Sandler is has bad 👎 as some as his past word so scroll past pick something else.
The Woman in the Window (2021)
Rear Window, meets Sorry wrong number.
Tried to watch this film yesterday turn off 30mins through, made me think of, James Stewart, ans Barbra Standwick straight off, but it was so boring,
I have seen more exciting scenes, and plots in the flintstones,Gary Oldman must have been really, inbetween films to sign up for this outing, and Amy Adams is worth more than this.
Was disappointed,as you got got my blanket, popcorn wine and got settled for a good thriiler, but ended up watching a old faithful instead.
I love the actors that are starring in this film and a fee is a fee to any actor but this as a big thumbs down to me,
just goes to show you you cant better the best version of a story.
Hello, Dolly! (1969)
Disappointed expected more
After, all the fuss, and build up over the decades, I thought I would give this classic, a go, the hit song Hello Dolly was the best, part, of the musical.
I wouldn't be in a rush to see it again.
You can see where Michael Crawford got the idea for Frank Spencer, (some mothers do have, em'.)
The rest of the songs 🎵 are lame as well.
The scenes and costumes, are spectacular, Streisand is stunning,in the part, Walter Mattheau, not really suited for musicals, in my opinion too, gravel faced, for the part.
Certainly see the magic of Hollywood.
I know this film as a lot of fans but it is not for me.
Gods of Egypt (2016)
Where as this little gem been
Came across this film on Netflix, never heard of it but what, a treat proper, weekend film for the family, great cast, one cast member a big surprise, he not even in the top 4 cast members, but a big part of the film enjoy a must see. Think of star wars mixed with warlock. With a bit of super powers, and romanced mixed in if this film was made in the 60s it would have starred Charlston Heston or Victor mature.
So get your popcorn and other treats close the blinds and enjoy If you come across the film give it a go you won't be disappointed.
The special effects and CJI are brilliant.............................................................

The Harder They Fall (2021)
Really enjoyed the outing
Hard day in work, fancied chilling with a movie and this did the trick, some well established Actors also some new faces, that will go far, if you enjoy a western, with a bit of tongue in cheek humour, can't go wrong but gory it parts but a great story.
Out of Death (2021)

How the mighty as fallen,to think this is the same guy who gave us Die Hard, RED Pulp fiction had to turn off poor acting poor effects.
The plot is good the location beautiful but that's is it,
Left Behind (2014)
The saddest film of Cages life
Total rubbish, how come a actor of his quality, does, trash like this, come on the same man did ConAir,Faceoff I understand up and coming, actors to make their name but dud he need the money that bad.
Sabrina (1995)
Poor remake
Has remakes go this is terrible, the main characters Harrison Ford, Greg Kinnear, and Julie Orland had no chemistry at all Nancy Marchers and John Wood stole the film, and Angie Dickinson beautiful as always.

The Greatest Showman (2017)
very entertaining, memorable cast,
I made a point of seeing this movie, I have heard so much about it from children and Adults, who were so glad they seen it, buying the soundtrack as soon as it was released there hasn't been a musical like this which gave joy to all generations since Grease, and this will be a classic of all time.
Hugh Jackson didn't disappoint fantastic whatever he turns his hands to, Michelle Willliams was outstanding Zendaya a name to look out for in the future and Zac Efron Brilliant, the best supporting cast I have seen for a long time everything fell in to place perfectly, will watch it again definitely
War for the Planet of the Apes (2017)
worth watching
I have enjoyed the Planet of the apes saga, and look forward to getting the box set, the performances from all involved are brilliant, the special effect are sublime, to the fact everything looks real.
I have seen the film now and I wouldn't be bothered if I ever see, unlike the first outing which if it came on TV I would make a point of seeing again.
but as I said I enjoyed the journey with Caesar (Andy Serkis).from him being adopted, escaping from the ape sanctuary.
Steve Zahn as bad ape was endearing and gave a little comedy to the film, and a great platform for Amiah Miller I think we will being seeing her again in future projects.
Woody Harrelson, as proved over and over again he can take on any part serious or comedy as he made you hate him and wanting all the Apes to take their revenge
