Brooklyn Nine-Nine (2013)
Way to ruin an entire series of a sitcom with propoganda
I would have given this show a 8 or 9 for first 7 seasons. Started season 8, within 5 minutes turned it off. Maybe ill try again, but the garbage amount of propaganda was excruciating. I'd reccomend watching first 7 seasons, then stopping.
Black Widow (2021)
Mediocre at best
Basically obligated to watch it being sucked into the mcu; but if this phase 4, mcu is plummeting down a cliff then. This was so mediocre and had such glaring plot holes I'm quite surprised marvel even allowed it to be released with their brand on it.
The Lords of Salem (2012)
Worst rob zombie movie to date
There are glaring plot holes, no resolution in the ending, and so much propaganda for a film made several years ago it's mind-boggling. This is hardly worth watching for free, let alone paying $.01 for it. I enjoy his main trilogy for what it is.
This movie spends an eternity trying to show how alone the main character is, even though its obvious she does have friends/co workers. Yet somehow they are wiped off the story with no explanation and the events are allowed to unfold. Save your time on something else.
Dylan Dog: Dead of Night (2010)
Why the hate?
I never understand all the constant hate for everything anymore. Obviously this movie is not a masterpiece; but the only question that matters is this: was it entertaining? The answer is yes.... a little comedy, monsters, clean ending without too much sappyness.
Changeland (2019)
Solid enjoyable movie for the right audience
I gave this movie a 7 as the ending was a bit odd(no resolution and a weird cutscene). Otherwise fantastic movie with strong characters.
To all those that couldn't connect with this movie; how old are you? If the answer is under 30, there's your answer. This movie benefits people who have lived in a non cookie cutter, non sheltered life. It's a lot easier to relate to the characters after having lived some life.
Altered Carbon (2018)
Destroying the show
I'm giving this a 5 because season 1 is a 9, season 2 is a 2. It's always amazing how when an actor quits a show, producers think they can replace them and carry on at the same quality. As much time as they had to do the second season, you'd think it would be written better, not the case. If you're reading reviews for season 2; my advice is to not watch season 2. Season 1 has a resolution and watching 2 will tarnish the opinion of that.
Bad Times at the El Royale (2018)
Mediocre, worth watching for free
Had too many story lines going that didn't really come together into one like many of these movies can actually do. The buildup was decent, acting was decent. The ending just doesn't really deliver. While the attempt by chris Hemsworth's was actually decent; his character literally is a Charles manson ripoff. They didn't even try to hide it at all.
U-571 (2000)
It's called fiction for a reason
If you want a 100% true story about an event, watch a documentary( even those aren't always exactly truthful as winners tell the story) take this movie for what it is; a decent action movie with a story and some submarines.
Ready or Not (2019)
Good buildup, poor delivery
As far as dime a dozen horror movies go, this is decent. The premise is pretty decent; the acting decent, lots of gore. What this film lacks is transition. The character leaps are incredibly fast and lack subtly to show how they arrived in their state of mind. While the ending was expected; could have used a recap explaining the consequences everything would have had. Movie would have actually been better with a longer runtime and not catering to 90 min attention span sheep.
Worth the watch; just don't create expectations prior or you will be disappointed.
