Circle of Iron (1978)
Quranic Verses from Al Kahf, Chapter 18, Verses 60 through 82.
This story is mostly taken from the Holy Quran, Al Kahf, Chapter 18, Verses 60 through 82.
The Story of Musa(Moses) and Al Khidr.
Musa had been told about one of the servants of Allah(GOD) at the junction of the two seas, who had knowledge which Musa had not been granted, so he wanted to travel to meet him.
Moses made this trip for this reason stated in Hadith literature:
Musa (AS) delivered a speech before the Nation of Israel and on being asked who is the most learned person he replied that he was.(Ibn Kathir, 2003)
Allah(GOD) rebuked him for this assumption and revealed to him that there is a servant who has knowledge that Musa (AS) did not possess.(Ibn Kathir, 2003)
Therefore, Musa (AS) sets out on an arduous journey in his quest to learn from him.
I would recommend reading, for yourself, the Quran and associated Hadith as this is an amazing story which would beg to question.
Was Bruce Lee A Muslim?
He did, in fact, read the Quran and was moved enough, by it's story, to adapt it into this film.
Marathon Man (1976)
Many Ratings are Comparing this to Current Films
Greetings All,
When you watch this film the First Vision is that of Olympic Champion Marathon Runner Abebe Bikila, who won gold medals running barefoot!
His name seems not to be included as part of this film 😪
Many people compare the plot to many other movies that they have seen and comment on its originality.
This film was released in 1976 so I don't know what millennium your in but this was pretty original back in '76!
The actors, the script, plot & story were all well crafted along with the cinematography & soundtrack.
Still, this is a suspenseful story with many intricate twists.
Definitely worth a viewing!
What If...? (2021)
Best in Class on Many Levels!
What if?
A beautifully crafted series that is amazingly conceptualized, written and illustrated.
All Brand New Features with our favorite MCU Characters in different scenarios.
The stories are, of course, very very well written. The Characters, although the same, are in different roles. 85 percent of the Movie Stars voice these same roles!
The illustration is awesomely drawn, framed and lighted as if it was filmed.
This first season's stories culminate into a fantastic surprise ending that would never been expected.
I Recommend This Series %100.
Hard Feelings (1981)
I was in this Movie!
This movie, in part, was shot down the street from my residence. My roommate used to come home bragging about how he got a part in it. He purchased one of those monogrammed robes and strutted around like he was the star of the film.
One day he needed a ride because there was a location change. So I put on my best 60's clothing, being a nostalgic fashionista, and as I had seen what wardrobe furnished him with, and escorted him to the shoot.
Once there I asked the casting director if she needed anyone else. She looked me up and down, told me to shave my beard and gather in with the group of extras.
My roommate soon grew weary of my presence on set as I got all of the good shots. The Director loved my improvisation throughout different scenes and encouraged me to give many different looks on the takes that I was part of.
After almost 20 years and a few title changes I finally found this Canadian film company's finished product.
Although I had a lot of camera time, probably the most out of any extra during that portion of the shoot, I didn't have any of that on the final cut. My best parts ended up on the cutting room floor!
Oh well, I still enjoyed the film anyway. Even after years of bragging and explaining to my children that I was in an actual movie, when they viewed the film they didn't even believe that it was me.
