i see that most of you here consider this show stupid.i first(and also last actually)saw it more than 10 yrs ago before i was 9,and it has never rerun here,so i can't remember much and therefore won't comment on whether it's silly or sth.

i think there are so many negative comments on it because this show is kinda out of date,it was meant for audience of the 80s,portraying sth in the future that didn't quite exist at that time.when enthralled in the hi-tech thing in the show,people might not pay much attention to fake stunts and stupid storylines.besides,they might not really seem fake or stupid back in the 80s.that's why,i believe,it could become a smash hit.

since the show is out of date,as it reruns today,it naturally becomes a show meant for kids only.i remember when i was a kid,i used to love some tv shows and consider them almost perfect and magnificent,but when i watch the reruns today as an adult,i find that they are actually nothing more than crap.

as the show has already become sth meant for kids,why do you adults bother to watch and suffer?i suggest that you not watch it at all and leave it to kids,so that the splendid memory of it left in your minds when you yourselves were kids won't be spoiled.

i gotta say that ingrid kavelaars acted just like a piece of wood,no facial expression of any kind at all!but then,enjoying her beautiful face is pretty good though. and the show is great in general,i kinda think it's too short and look forward to another season.

at first i was toooo preoccupied with the show that i didn't notice some little details. now after others have mentioned, i noticed that in the show, america seemed to be the whole world, all unusual happenings took place ONLY in america. weird,huh? and liam's character strangely started to become more and more human since s3, and finally they made him fully human!!! that's ridiculous. and the end of s4 kinda broke my heart,with the departure(well,let's just say extinction)of the taelons,the whole s5 was disappointing and far tooooooo different from previous ones,not to mention that renee lead this season through(i don't like her charater!)and they even resurrected zo'or twice just for those stupid purposes,especially the first time. but then i'm very glad that there were no flashback episodes made to waste time,and despite the flaws and some disappointments, efc is still the best sci fi i've ever seen.

well,this is a good show in general,but episodes concerning paranormal activity in every season started to become less since season 7,boring episodes increased a great deal...sigh.

and i found sth strange.ever since the very beginning,whenever met an x file,mulder would always shoot his bizarre theory,then scully would disagree and try to explain in terms of science,then they would have a heated discussion over it.and mulder would always turn out to be right.so at the end of season 1,scully told mulder that she admitted that there were things that couldn't be explained by science,that she should trust his intinct when solving an x file.therefore i thought their arguments of this sort would be over or less in the following seasons,but it just remained the same and sometimes even more until mulder's departure.

what's more,scully's explaination in terms of science was kinda getting weirder as the show went on. e.g in an episode in season 7 which a bank robber's soul entered scully's ex-boyfriend's(also a cop) body,scully explained to mulder that the change of handwriting and of from right-handed to left-handed of her ex-boyfriend was due to work stress!!! wasn't that ridiculous?
