When a movie lies in every way...
1 March 2024
Warning: Spoilers
The worst thing that can happen with movies, when creators totally mislead viewers with basic things, like for example GENRE.

No, not with story, with genre. I would have been so angry, if i would watch this in the cinema... lucky me, i watched this at home. But man... This is marketed as a prehistoric creature feature in the trailer, in the commercials, in the descriptions... everywhere... People will go and see it becouse they WANT a creature feature.

All will be disappointed. Becouse the movie won't reach to the people who would look for a prehistoric hunting drama. Its not that. Lies. There is no monster, dont bother if u wanted one.

But even if there is no creature, i still find the movie lacking... however, the landscapes were beautiful... thats the four star. Its very important to market a movie for the right audience, unless u want people to be disappointed in mass.

People don't even know what they are watching nowadays
5 March 2023
It is beyond me how many strange reasons i have read here from complaining people.

Hello Tomorrow is a drama about SELLING DREAMS to easy to scam desperate people of the failed american dream flavoured with a beautiful and creative atomic punk setting. No action, no war, no lasers, its a moody drama in a beautifully done alternate 50s sci-fi setting. Very interesting plot about a swindler mastermind's ways to try to built a business based on fairy tales about moon-homes for poor people... Very good presentation of the 50s nostalgic, also fake "smiley" american world filled with interesting inventions. Its like a little tale from Amazing Stories magazine.

NO, NOT STEAMPUNK, stop using that word, it has nothing to do with this series. Atomic punk is from the pulp era, from the America that never was (fallout world without the nuclear desolation).

Also: the trailer was pretty good: I expected EXACTLY that based on that. I dont even know how ppl thought, it will be action packed as they missing that.... not everything is about cheap superheros folks.

The Rig (2023– )
Very atmospheric isolation mystery thriller for the fans of the genre
1 February 2023
I have no idea why those ratings are so low.

This series is similar to Fortitude, Katla, Helix, The Terror and all those very cool series where people stuck in an isolated location and an unknown danger appears.

The Rig is on the scientific side, not the horror ones. And its fine. It has a really good base idea, has some good actors. Ofc the visuals sometimes very good, sometimes lacks. Some characters are annyoing, but nothing too bad.

Overally, this series scratches that kind of "isolation" type itch u can have after similar topics. Watch it, decide for yourself, its good.

I would love to sea a second season, but as i see it's reception, probably wont happen. Still, i think the first season worth to watch alone.

Doctor Who: Spyfall: Part One (2020)
Season 12, Episode 1
Still Dumb, try to answer these two question.
4 January 2020
Warning: Spoilers
1. At the start of the episode we see the companions, as they try to get alibies for there bosses and co-workers, so they could be with the Doctor for a longer time.

WHY? Why do they need to do that? They have a TARDIS and they can come back ANY damn time to follow their life exactly one minutes later from the point they have left.

2. Enemy escapes with a car. Doctor and the A-team follow him with motorcycles. WHILE the Tardis is parking 10 meters away. Its a time machine, also... it can fly. Also, it can go back in time before the car even started. Or it can simply fly after the car.

So face it: The creators forgot that the Doctor is a TIME TRAVELER and she has a TIME MACHINE.... Well done.

10/5 for being X-files only for 5 minutes in the cage.

Sucker Punch (2011)
109 minute VIDEOCLIP
28 March 2011
Yes, that was sucker punch. Independent scenes composed to music, it was so huge, so monumental, so action oriented, with a storyline, which was created a three years old monkey.

Did you ever saw Warhammer trailers on youtube? Or any epic fantasy or sci-fi game trailers? Yeeees.... Then you know, what I'am talking about. The whole film is a looong trailer, for a movie, which was never made. Interesting.

Otherwise, I hate stuffs, when giants hit young ladies to walls, and only the walls crash, and the lady just smiles and smiles.... like a boring and stupid anime. Snyder could have avoid these parts, and make the fights more exciting, because, if you would know at the start of the film, that the character can't die, and can't injure, why should you be excited?
