Delirious!
9 July 2019
Warning: Spoilers
This movie is spectacular! Specially for SciFi fans who grown up with the godzila alike monsters of StarTrek, the scenery appears to be very familiar. The movie was made in 2000 with limited resources and even though accomplishes to satisfy in plot, acting and miseen cene.

It shows a very ordinary story about a revolt against evil alien forces who are actually very well-designed with extra large statures, animal hands, arrogance, Rastafari hair and strange yellow eyes.

Well is not a Ridley Scott movie or a Scorsese but something light, almost infantile, full of action, good sound, horrible photography and competently directed, it reminds the Batman's series of the 60s. I watch it with my kids who are grown ups now, and we laugh as we remember some of the scenes, it's part of our lives. Fun like the 5th element, Demolition Man, Enemy Mine and other curiosities.

Blindspot (2015–2020)
Cameraman with parkinson's disease
29 May 2018
Despite the pretty couple and specially beautiful actress, this series has not much to add. it's just another sad plot that could have happened had the lead actor not been so hard and unimpressive.

It is good to see how well it was photographed but unfortunately the camera man has weak hands or the production had no money to buy a tripod.

After two episodes the viewer is totally dizzy with rough zoom ins and outs, very fast re framing and sudden psycho moves that turns the whole history into an optical nightmare.

I really don't know what's the intended effect that it might produce but it hasn't reach its goal.

Singularity (I) (2017)
Worst movie ever...
3 November 2017
Its simply horrible, the acting, the scenery, the plot, the figurine, the light, the edition, even John Cusack get to be bad in this movie. It seems to be just a film test or some school project. So many people involved in this total incoherent movie makes me think on how people trow money away...

Same hateful plot
8 August 2017
I love Ridley Scott movies but that does not include this one, worse than Alien 2, is a total deception. The plot is the same as the others however he didn't blow the head out of any father this time. It looks like as unhappy attempt to improve the original history with the same hateful plot where nobody gets saved and the mambo will continue ad always. Very, very boring, dark and repetitive. But Mr, Scott will make something better next time, lets hope.

Transcendental

This film is pure poetry beautifully told with sensitivity and emotion. The main character offers us the chance to look into ourselves and imagine how we would react to fate, life and its meanings. The environment is artistically worked by very fine illustrators who draw our attention to the subtle lights and the penetrating colors of nature.

Spoiler comment, (contains the plot and the final).... be warned! ;)

Warning: Spoilers
A couple of young guys live in a cabin and grows weed and they dope so much until the man begins to see aliens around. Notwithstanding the dangers of a free-running psycho in the woods, some campers were mistakenly taken to be hideous creatures ... and decapitated by the crazy pothead. It was terrible, the acting, the environment, the weed, the blood orgy, the sex, yes it was sex and it was terrible, like awe. Not to mention, badly dressed, terrible makeup, bad music, bad editing, lights, photography, art direction, all bad. For a bloody thirsty spectator, who does not care about small details, would be fun.

Harmada (2003)
A man struggles to survive, finding strength for it to interpret and tell stories.
5 June 2013
Warning: Spoilers
The book tells the story of an unemployed actor - or who have displaced the system by not agree with him. Twenty years after being a big hit, is caught roaming the periphery of an imaginary country whose capital is Harmada. "It is clear that this country is Brazil."

The film besides speaking person failed, the unemployed, shows the political position of the actor. "He wanted to make a kind of theater, art, expression, had no space inside your country, and Harmada, which would be the great center, where things happen. During the film, the actor begins to revitalize and while walked back to Harmada, works with an amateur theater group Mambembe, a kind of free expression of social behavior and deviant art saying what people like to talk, but gets stuck in the throats "

Far from the original spirit, but suitable for children.
7 November 2010
For fans of Harold Foster's Prince Valiant it is a bit disappointing, but very suitable for children. Despite his homo haircut the original Valiant is very masculine, philosophical, and smart. He does not perform foolish acts or show inability with the sword, ever. In the movie he looks too young, shy, messy and foolish. The cast is inadequate, the camera trembles and the fight scenes are unacceptable... but again, not for the children, there are nice places to be viewed causing the correct time effect. There are not enough elements to make a good movie, lacks of art direction, continuity, actor performance and specially edition. The movie was pretty bad edited. Beside the gorgeous naked back of the princess coming out of the bad, the castles, the open air scenes make a very pleasant environment worth to be seen. Ron Pearlman's performance is great as usual but do not save the picture. Maybe i would like too much to see this movie under the view of Ridley Scott, stronger characters, something more close to the original personality and the meaning of Prinz Eisenherz.

Unfair Hypocrites
16 September 2010
This movie is far more funny and well humored than anyone can imagine. Its absolutely unfair to put it down. Its a home movie, very well done, well plotted better than watch old stuff like JohnWayne projecting his fat shadow on the wall in a paper scenery, flat studio floors, blue eyed apaches and all that kind of horror. In this movie the villain and his assistant are absolutely hilarious they are brilliant! is a heart made movie not intending to win any prizes but just making something light and funny. For sci-fi fans only, good humored people looking for relaxing non-sense. Compare it to the planet of the apes and see how less absurd it is, even the effects, actor performances are far better, as matter of fact, the movie has a very harmonious color schemes, make up is creative, light is perfect, casting, edition, i cant see why it is so bad reviewed, i prefer to watch this than boring Titanic, tedious Casablanca or the soporific Metropolis. This is a good movie, full of nonsenses as almost all the greatest science fiction movies. Or have you seen lately anybody with a fly head around? It shoud be a second Episode!
