Behind Her Eyes (2021)
It's ok. (Possible spoiler)
A bit predictable sadly. Starts off interesting until it became unbelievable.
And then once you reach the 'sci-fi' section you basically know what's happened and are just waiting for the 'big reveal' for the rest of the episodes. They give hints for this 'big reveal' very early on. Like Rob's diary for example. (why would Adele have his diary?)
Started off strong, got me hooked. Then it weakened and petered out. Overall pretty disappointing. Shame. It showed such promise.
Another Life (2019)
after an abysmal start, it surprisingly got better and better.
This one surprised me. I was ready to run halfway through episode 2. Awful is an understatement. But, I needed something brain dead to watch, so I kept on watching.
After episode 5/6, it amazingly enough got better. especially the last 2 episodes I thought were proper scifi. It's got a good cliffhanger and I even find myself hoping it'll be renewed for a 2nd season
Stargate Universe (2009)
yep it sucks
Well, I agree with most of the comments. It's a cross between Battlestart Galactica and Voyager. Except it's nothing like either of them. At least in voyager they couldn't communicate with earth and with battlestar galactica every episode was hardcore entertainment breaking the limits of 'accepted story lines' every episode. The characters were deep and complex and often unpredictable. Here, we have a few wetwashes on a ship arguing with each other. yehey.
And talking about characters, I also agree with most of the other comments. They're not really likable, no not even the robert carlyle one. So the characters go from being tolerable to can't stand them. Great start for a new show.
I don't really know why I'm writing this comment, because I know very well I am only repeating what everyone else is saying. One more comment on the pile.
