I really enjoyed watching Abduction. I found it to have a very good storyline, i particularity thought that Taylor Lautner (Nathan) and Lily Collins (Karen) acting was great. One day Nathan & Karen are over at Nathan's parents home and Karen happens to come across a website which has lots of photos of children who are missing or may have somehow been abducted. all of a sudden Karen is sat at the computer and she manages to age one of the photos on the website. Suddenly the photo turns out to be one of Nathan when he was just a child. Nathan becomes really confused and wants to know exactly what is going on because his mother will not tell him. He then start to think that he may have been abducted, and that his parents are not really his real ones. The movie really kept me interested all the way through. The storyline was very gripping and kept me on the edge of my seat almost the whole length of the movie. I would really recommend people to see this movie as it has a lot of great action happening in it.

I have to say that really enjoyed this movie. It is about a young teenage boy called Greg (Zachary Gordon) who really longs to be famous in the middle school that he attends. His has a best friend Rowley who is quite weird in his ways i really like the cast in this movie especially Angie Steadman (Chloe Moretz) who i also think is a great actress. There is one other boy called Fregley (Grayson Russell) who i thought was very funny. Greg places him at the last position in the popularity table at the school. No matter how hard Greg tries he is always though of as unpopular with the others in his school. There are some very funny moments in the films, one is where whoever touches a piece of stale cheese in school yard then has the cheese touch. Greg eventually learns that is does not matter if you are on the top of the popularity list at your school. I found the movie very enjoyable to watch. I felt that i could really relate to the things that happened to Greg. The cast were all great. It is a very good entertaining movie that can be enjoyed as much by adults as well as kids. I would really recommend this movie to everyone if you want to relive your schooldays all over again. My Rating 8/10

I have to say that this happens to be one of the very best science fiction movies that i have ever seen and i enjoyed the whole of the movie throughout. It is about meteors that are being shot down onto Los Angeles and many other cities also around the world. The earth is all of a sudden being invaded by space aliens which have landed off the coast of Los Angeles and are beginning to start killing people So the military army is called in to try and take action on what ever is happening. I had the feeling that the story had a war type feeling to it as well. I thought that the battle scenes were some of the best battle scenes that i have ever seen in a movie. Thaere were lots of closeup shots most of the time throughout the movie which gave a shaky camera effect which i though added more reality to the movie. I would really recommenced this movie to people who like lots of good action and science fiction movies. My rating: 8/10

I managed to see this film at my local cinema a few months ago now and i have bought the DVD which has just come out. I found The Resident to be a very enjoyable and exciting horror/thriller movie. I particularly liked the actors in the movie, who all played their parts very well especially Juliet Devereau (Hilary Swank)and Max (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) I was really pleased to see Christopher Lee who played August in the film. I was really gripped throughout the whole of the movie where i found it to have a very good creepy feel to it. Its about a young doctor called Juliet (Hirlary Swank)who happens to be looking for an apartment in Brooklyn, New York. But it is in the middle of being renovated and it has a very low rental price on it, which she finds strange. She soon falls in love with the landlord but something does not seem quite right with him. Soon after she finds out that he has been spying on her the whole of the time that she is in the apartment. I found this movie to have a really great feel to it throughout the whole film. My Rating 8/10

I've just watched this movie tonight and i found it to be a very enjoyable movie. Its about a 16 year old high-school student called Craig who has been getting these suicidal thoughts. So he decides to check himself into the psychiatric ward of a hospital. He thinks that they will help him and send him back home in time for school the next day. Instead he ends up spending a week on the ward. Because the younger persons ward is being renovated he must stay on the same ward as the older adults as well as a few younger people. A man called Bobby (Zac Galifianakis) from the Hangover helps to show him around. After being there for a while he begins to show interest in a girl on the same ward as him called Noelle (Emma Roberts) who happens to be about the same age. They soon become good friends. There were some situations in the film that i found very funny and could relate to. I would really recommend this movie as it is very enjoyable to watch!: My Rating 8/10

I have to say i really loved this film. I watched the 80's television series when i was a child, and i've always been a fan of the show ever since. So when i heard that a new movie was to be made i was very excited about it. It was much more better definitely than I was expecting. I loved all of the characters in the film especially 'B.A. Barachus' who has always been my favourite. Even though it was completely a different cast this time i got used to them very well. There are lot's of explosions, gun fights and some really explosive parts, and also very good camera work The film is in Iraq where four American soldiers who are sent on a mission. After they return to their base their commanding officer is suddenly killed in an explosion. I found the movie to be really great one to watch which i enjoyed very much: My rating 8/10

I watched this film last week on DVD and i found it to be a excellent film. the violence was really brutal at times and i had to look away on several occasions, which is very rare for me!. Apart from that it was an absolutely fantastic movie. It is about a secret agent who finds out that his fiancée has been brutally murdered. He begins to set out on revenge to find the man who has done this to his fiancée. Soon after he finds the man who is the culprit he beats him as hard as possible. Instead of killing him he slowly tortures him alive and wants to make it as painful as possible for him. The amount of graphic violence and gore in the movie was incredible, I think some of the violence was some strongest that i have actually seen in a very long time on film. It was quite a long film to watch as it ran about 140 minutes in total. But the story was so gripping it did not feel that long at all. I was gripped to the screen throughout the entire movie where it was so good. I would really recommend this film to anyone who is able to stand watching this level of violence on screen. I absolutely loved it so much and cannot wait to see it again sometime!: My Rating 9/10

I watched this film for the first time on DVD last week and i found it to be an absolutely hilarious and entertaining film for people of all ages to enjoy. It is about this lovely house which is in a suburban neighbourhood but unknown to the neighbours, there is something hidden underneath this home which is a secret hideout. The hideout is completely surrounded by a small army of little creatures called minions, who are looked after by a strange man called Gru that is planning to steal something very precious. I really loved the character of Gru who is completely armed with his collection of arsenals to enable him to get rid of anybody who happens to get in his way!. One day he meets three little orphaned girls called Margo, Edith and Agnes, that would like Gru to be there dad. The film was so great that i could not stop watching throughout the movie. I found the little girl in the film to be very cute and funny!.I could not stop laughing at times!. Kids will really love this film and i also recommend it to adults as well, as there are some very funny parts in the film!. I thought that this was one of the best animation films that i have ever seen!: My Rating 9/10

I finally got to see this film on DVD last night, and i absolutely enjoyed it very much. It is about three Rwandan children who plan to walk 3000 miles to be able to be at the World Cup in South Africa. I found the scenery throughout the film to be really amazing to watch. I thought the kids acting in the film to be so good. The friends are a talented teenage footballer called Fabrice, Dudu who is a shanty dweller and Dudu's younger sister Beatrice who i thought were fantastic actors. They are making their way to hopefully get to a Pre World Cup trial for Dudu friend Fabrice in Kigali, They end up getting the wrong bus, so they must find a way to get to the World Cup in South Africa. On their way they meet an escaped child terrorist called George and also a waitress called Celeste who is being held captive. They both decide to join the others on the long trip ahead. I really loved the African music which was playing throughout the film which gave the film a great atmosphere. I found it to be a very enjoyable movie with some good laughs along the way: 8/10

I watched this film a few weeks ago and i found it to be a very good horror film. i found it to be a very gripping sort of film with some nice views of the Irish countryside. It is about a young couple whose daughter is torn to death by an angry Alsatian not very far from their home. To get over the terrible loss of their daughter they decide to start a new life in Ireland in a small village called Wake Wood. Soon after they arrive there the girl's mother Louise finds that the local villagers are involved in some rather unusual behaviour. I found this film to be very entertaining throughout, with a very good storyline. I thought that the young girl's parents Patrick (Aidan Gillen) and Louise (Eva Birthistle) were very good actors too. I would definitely recommend this film: 6/10

I managed to watch this film on DVD last week and i found it to be a pretty good horror film actually. The story is about a girl called Anja and her five friends who join with this other student called Dace who happens to study anthropology. They decide to go on a journey to study a ancient type of rock painting. But soon after one of their friends called Mel wants to go swimming in this lake as it is nighttime, soon after getting out of the lake Mel finds herself covered in leaches she starts screaming for the others to try and get them off of her body. Eventually they manage to get her back to their tents and is given a bottle of water to drink. But suddenly she begins to bleed very badly. Soon after she begins to physically turn into to a vicious predatory look. So Mels lover and friends begin to realise that they are going to be the prey that she wants to attack, so she starts to begin to hunt them down. I found it to be a very gory film, but i enjoyed watching it very much 5/10

I thought that the film Life As We Know It was actually a very good and funny comedy film. I was very surprised as i do not usually see many comedy films on on DVD or at the cinema. I thought that the actors were very good especially (Katherine Heig) who played the part of Holly and (Josh Duhamel) who played Eric and the babysitter Amy (Britt Flatmo) The story is about Holly and Eric who meet in 2007 on whilst going on a blind date and everything goes badly wrong. then one day they hear that their friends have died in a car accident. They were actually the friends who set them up on their date. Soon after they are told that their friends wanted them to take care of the baby should anything happen to both of them. So they eventually adopt the little baby. This ends up changing their lives completely as they move into their friends old house. I found this to be a very funny film at times and enjoyed it very much. I really recommend this film very much 7/10

I have just watched Skyline tonight on DVD tonight and i found it to be a very good film actually, despite the low rating that it has been given. It is about on attack on the city of Los Angeles by these huge alien type spaceships. I particularly enjoyed the scenery in the film which i thought was amazing. I loved all the aerial views over the Los Angeles skyline. Although the was not any major well known stars in the film i thought the cast did a pretty good job. This was my first Sci-fi film i have seen since Independence Day, which i also thought was a very good film as well. I would have liked the film to have lasted a while longer than its running time as i think this would have given the film more chance to develop the characters a lot more. I found it to be a very enjoyable movie that i would definitely watch again. I recommended it to anyone who enjoys watching good science fiction films: 6/10

I recently saw Let Me In at the cinema in November last year, and i had the chance to buy the DVD last week. I'm going to say that it has to be the most amazing horror film i've seen in perhaps the last 10 years or even longer. The acting in the movie was absolutely superb. I thought that (Chloe Grace Moretz) who played the part of the girl Abby in the film was one of the very best actresses i have ever seen on film for a girl of her age. The scenery in the film was absolutely wonderful especially all the snowflakes coming down from the sky. The film is about a boy called Owen (Kodi Smit-McPhee) who lives with his mother. One day he happens to meet this 12 year old girl called Abby, who has recently just moved into the apartment next door to him. they soon become good friends after Owen becomes bullied by some of the pupils at his school. I also thought that the actor who played Owen was so brilliant as well for someone so young. i would absolutely recommend this film to anyone who enjoys watching excellent horror films: 9/10

I have to say that i really enjoyed watching Paranormal Activity. It started off slow to begin with. But once it got going i loved it. Its about a couple called Katie & Micah who decide that they want to record their nights sleep while they are sleeping. Soon after they begin to hear strange noises that they believe to be something evil. I loved the way in which the film was shot by using a hand held camera. I did not find this to be too much of a problem though which was good. Most of the film is also done on a tripod too whist both of them are sleeping. I really wish that i had the chance to have seen it in the cinema on a big screen it is a very creepy and haunting film. I was able to feel myself holding my breath when they went to sleep each time. It was actually the very first horror film that actually effected me. And also one of the most creepiest films I've ever seen. This is a really great film: 6/10

I watched A Bay Of Blood last night and i found it to be a very good horror film. I have seen a few of Mario Bava's film and find them all to be great films. It is about a wealthy countess who owns the land around a bay. The elderly countess is hanged by her husband who is also killed at the same time. soon after the death of the countess two other young couples are murdered in the bay. Over time many more people are mysteriously murdered in the bay. I thought that this was a great film from director Maria Bava who is known for many great horror films. Alought this film looks very outdated now, it still has a great atmosphere to it. I watched the Italian version of the film with English subtitles. there were some very gory scenes in the film and many of the murders looked very realistic. I very much recommend this film. My vote: 6/10

I found the remake of I Spit On Your Grave to be even more brutal than the original 1978 film. It is about a young woman writer Jennifer Hills (Sara Butler)who decides to take a break from the city for a while, so she takes a trip to a quite cabin in the woods to start work on her next book. She drops over at a local gas station on the way there. whist there she meets a groups of guys that seem to be attracted to her. When arriving back at her cabin in the woods, she finds that her cabin has been broken into. all of a sudden she finds the four guys in her cabin. they begin to start humiliating and intimidating her really badly. Jennifer somehow manages to escape away from the men. They try to look for her, but finds no sign of her As the time passes, the men stop searching for her body. Unknown to them Jennifer is still alive and she wants to get her own back on the men torturing them using terrible and horrifying ways. I found this film to be much like the original 1978 version, but with much more brutal and violent scenes in it. It was tough to watch the torture Jennifer put on the men. but it was an excellent film overall I give: 7/10

I must say that i really enjoyed watching the horror film Exorcismus. It is about a 15 year old girl called Emma (Sophie Vavasseur) who life suddenly unexpectedly changes one day when she begins to start having frightening fits. This begins to worry her parents very much, but they seem to put it down to just being psychological problems, but Emma feels that there is something very much powerful happening to her. As she begins to get sicker by each day they finally contact a priest help them get rid of whatever is troubling Emma. As a fan of the 1973 horror film The Exorcist and The Exorsism Of Emily Rose (2005) both of which i thought were absolutely fantastic films. I had a feeling that this one was going to be good. I would really recommend this film to fans that like these type of movies. Recommended: 5/10

I found the horror film The Devil to be a surprisingly very good horror film. I really enjoyed the upside down images at the start of the film where camera was flying across the skyline of the city. The film centrers on a group of people that are trapped in an office building elevator and apparently one of the them is supposedly the devil. I was very surprised at how good the acting in the film was, as much of the film was filmed just inside of an elevator. There was strong acting from all of the cast in the film. The atmosphere of it felt very tense at times. especially when they all started arguing at each other whilst being stuck in the lift. I thought it was a very good film throughout definitely recommended. 7/10

I've just finished watching this film tonight. I thought that it was a great film with some marvellous acting by everyone in it. It kept me gripped to my seat throughout the whole film. Its about 5 people who are on a sailboat in the great barrier reef in Australia. They are called Luke, his friend Matt and his girlfriend Suzie, Also Matt's sister and Luke's former girlfriend Kate They are all enjoying a nice sail when their boat hits an underwater rock and brings them to a halt. Their only way of getting back to land is by swimming. All but one of the friends decides not to go with them so the rest of them leave without him. All is well until one of them spots a shark in the water which sends them all into a panic. I found this to be an excellent thriller with some amazing scenery around it. turned a to be a great film in the end. I really recommend it 6/10

I watched Harry Brown last night, and found it to be one of the best British films i have seen for a long time. It is about a man called Harry Brown (played by Micheal Caine) which i set on an estate in London England, Harry is a retired mariner, who lives on his own. His wife Kath is terminally ill in hospital. He spends his time playing chess with his friend Leonard Attwell who he meets at the pub. Len tells Harry that there is a local gang on the estate who are harassing him and decides to carry a weapon around with him for self-defence. Harry suggests that Len should go to the police. Inspector Alice Frampton and her partner Sergeant Terry Hicock pay Harry a visit, but they have bad news. They tell him that his friend Len was beaten to death in an underground passage, by the group of youths. They decide to investigate, but all the police find is the weapon. Harry sees nothing can be done so he decides to take on the gang by himself. I found this to be a very violent film with very strong language, which shows the problems of youth violence in Britain at the moment 8/10

I watched Death Trap not long ago, and i found it to be quite a good horror movie, its about a man called Judd who runs the Starlight Hotel, which seems to be out in the middle of nowhere very near to a swamp, He has a crocodile which he keeps on the side of his hotel, Judd is trying to make some more money for himself the guests who come to stay at the hotel find out that the crocodile will eat almost anything, which his guests soon find out, i quite liked this horror film, even though it was done on a very low budget, i don't mind films that are made on a low budget, they tend to be good films in the end. The crocodiles effects seemed quite good as well 5/10

i watched The Haunting Of Molly Hartley about a week ago, and i found it to be not too bad a film. it is about a teenager called Molly Hartley who has moved from Boston so that she can start a new life with her father Robert Hartley. Her mother Jane tried to kill her by stabbing her on the chest and now is confined to the Clayton Mental Institution, Molly starts at a new school called the Huntington Prep School, soon after starting at her new school, she becomes friends with a religious girl called Alexis White who happens to be an outcast to the rest of the pupil's at the school. Molly finds that the one of the popular boys at the school Joseph Young starts to flirt with her, but on the evening of her eighteenth birthday, Molly's mother escapes from the hospital and she explains to her that she died in the delivery. she told her that a woman promised to revive her but her soul would belong to the devil who would collect her on her eighteenth birthday. i found this to be a good horror film in the end 4/10

i watched the horror film Borderland a few weeks ago and i found it to be a very good horror film. it is about Three college students, Phil, Ed, and Henry who take a trip into Mexico for a week of drinking and fun but they become captured by a group of satanic Mexican drug smugglers from Mexico City, who are out to kill tourists that they happen to come across. one of the students Phil finds himself captured by the of the cult, and he finds he finds himself to be a new person who the drug smugglers want prepare for a sacrifice. this turned out to be a very good horror film with a lot of action and violence in it which i enjoyed very much 6/10

I watched this horror firm a few weeks ago, and i found it to be very good. it is about a woman called Jane Morton, who is a psychiatrist from Dublin. She has been assigned to work on the case of Dorothy Mills, a teenage girl from a small village who has tried to strangle a baby. When Jane arrives in the village she finds it to be a very strange place. she finally meets a very nervous girl called Dorothy, who swears to the psychiatrist that she never touched the baby. After carrying out tests on Dorothy, Jane diagnosis that she has multiple personality disorder he manages to impersonate three peoples voices, she also finds out that the locals are religious believers and she believes that something dark lives in the island 7/10
