This movie could've worked as a cute romcom (with a few rewrites) if they had chosen a better cast. There is absolutely no chemistry here. The lead actors are not good in these roles, especially Brooke Shields and Miranda Cosgrove. None of the core 4 have chemistry with each other, making nearly every scene cringeworthy. It's incredibly awkward to watch and feels very highschool musical. Not the movie Highschool Musical, but like I'm actually watching a high school musical. A very, very bad one.

The supporting actors are the only saving grace. The BFFs, Scott and Janice, (Wilson Cruz and Rachael Harris) should've been cast as the leads. They're far superior. Wilson Cruz is very natural and engaging. The rest of the supporting cast is pretty good as well, but it's not enough to carry the movie when the 4 main characters/actors are completely unbelievable as actual human beings. It's just impossible to connect with them. Benjamin Bratt, Brooke Shields, and Sean Teale are all good actors in general, but for whatever reason they're falling flat here. Again, I just think the casting was all wrong.

I can't imagine how awkward the actors must've felt watching the final product. I'm genuinely curious if they knew during filming that it wasn't coming together well but it was too late to turn back. I have a feeling some of them were mostly in it for the filming location. Who would say no to a few weeks on the beach in Thailand?

A washed up actress comparing the song Baby it's Cold Outside to Bill Cosby was enough for me to turn this crappy, wannabe Hallmark movie off. Hard pass.

I love that it's not an elimination show. It's actually a school and they are there to learn, not compete. The teacher is so genuine and inspiring and professional. He's a breathe of fresh air. We've had enough of screaming and insulting Chefs so it's great to see someone doing it right. Fun and pleasant show to watch.

This movie is so cringeworthy. Absolutely everything about it was awful, except for the mice. Anyone connected to this movie must be embarrassed. How did this even get made?

Even if you don't compare this to the original GG, this show is just plain awful! This is more juvenile than a CW or a Freeform show. What was HBO thinking? This is NOT something these young actors will want on their resumés. What an embarrassment!

Good acting, good action, great visuals. Of course some of it is a hard sell, it's an action movie! Stop overthinking every little detail and just enjoy it. It's a good Friday night flick.

What can I say that hasn't already been said. The actress playing Selena is awful and the show is mostly about Abraham and AB. Swing and a miss Netflix.

This movie was completely awful. The acting was terrible, the portrayal of mental health illnesses was a joke, and the supposed twists were so predictable and obvious that I can't believe some people considered them twists!! This movie was just downright awful! I definitely had higher expectations considering Amy Adams is in it but do yourself a favor and skip it.

When I clicked watch I didn't even realize it was a tv show. I thought it was a movie and I expected it to be just another silly rom-com. I'm pleasantly surprised at how much I like this show. It's entertaining, well written, and the actors are fantastic. I absolutely love this family! I hope they renew it for a 2nd season.

It was actually decent up until the ending. I wasn't expecting a happy ending but I was at least expecting a conclusion. The movie just stops. So annoying. At least give us a final montage or something. So disappointing.

Not sure how this show even got made or why. It's not funny at all. It's the most cringeworthy show ever so at least it's #1 in some category. And to top it off a 40 year old is playing a 14 year old. Why??? So, so dumb. It will be cancelled soon I'm sure so don't bother watching it unless you hate yourself.

Funny, every negative rating is from January 15th. People shouldn't even be allowed to rate an entire show after only the premiere. So ridiculous. This show is fantastic! So well written, exceptional acting, great storylines. Best show out there.

I really tried to like this show. I gave it 5 episodes even though I could not stop rolling my eyes every other second. The actors are terrible and generic and the writing is terrible and generic. If you're over the age of 16 I wouldn't suggest it. It's definitely a teeny bopper show.

Discovery is an excellent show. The characters have depth and are easy to connect with. The ship is absolutely beautiful and has serious wow factor. The visuals are stunning. The look of the Klingons is different and a little jarring at first, but it's easy to overlook with how exceptional the rest of the show is. Discovery pays homage to Star Trek better than any of the other Star Trek shows. There are Trekkie easter eggs everywhere you look. The format is different from the other shows as it has a season long story arc and isn't an episodic show. Don't be swayed by the keyboard commandos crying and typing away from their mother's basements. All of the supposed inconsistencies and continuity errors are explained or visually represented throughout seasons 1 and 2. It's truly a great show!

It's a great movie. I'm not sure why it didn't make more money or get a sequel. It has a great storyline, good acting, beautiful visuals. It was well written and just altogether a great movie. You won't be disappointed.

Don't listen to all the whiny haters, writing bad reviews from their mom's basement. It's a fantastic film. It will give you all the feels. Be sure to see it in Real 3D. The visuals are stunning! You will not be disappointed.
