Without a doubt it is a classic from Walt Disney Animation Studios. Of the first 3 most classic Disney princesses, this is my favorite. Not just because the character is more empowered. But also because the movie is wonderful to watch. Lady Tremaine is a great villain, my second favorite villain in all of Disney. I watched this film for the first time as an adult, and I remember very well that I cried at the part where Ella's stepsisters rip her dress. It is a wonderful and magical film. The song by the Fairy Godmother I sing from time to time until today. The mouse helpers are wonderful. No defects. Film Watched on September 07, 2023.

I have to stop watching this more and more I watch the more I think it's bad. I find it very interesting that who gave the voice to Wendy is the same as Alice from the previous film and this happened here in Brazil too, which I thought was great. The film's biggest defect is without a doubt the stereotypes and it's not just the indigenous thing, it's also the standard of beauty that Tinker Bell insinuates at the beginning of the film. It's good that this movie is short but it's still tiring and very bad. The best thing done at Disney in this War Era was the creation of Zé Carioca. The Aquarela do Brasil segment is even good, but it doesn't manage to make the entire film good. I'm watching the movies out of release order and I know I'm going to have to face Fantasia 1940, over two hours of bad movie. But what do I want to know my ranking of all Walt Disney Animation Studios movies so I have to face it. Boring, tiring, plotless, sleepy are just a few adjectives that define this "film". Without a doubt it is a classic film by Walt Disney Animation Studios. Simply wonderful. The different traits of animation give a different charm to this film. If I'm not mistaken, there's only one song but it's already a classic song from world cinema. I don't know my top Disney villains, but maybe Cruella would be in the top 10 for sure. The way dogs appear with tutors is genius. Wonderful filmw, without defects. The animation is peculiar and perhaps of the films that adopted this design, this one was the most beautiful. Before starting this marathon of animated features from Walt Disney Animation Studios, this was my favorite movie from that studio, I'll see if I continue to think so. Aunt Sarah is a great villain, she manages to make us hate her from beginning to end. It may even happen that when I finish my marathon of the Walt Disney Animation Studios feature films and this film does not continue in first place but I am certain that it is my favorite romance film, including films about people without being cartoons. This whole movie is sad. For me the saddest Walt Disney Animation Studios moment is from the movie the dog and the fox in the farewell song. But this movie Dumbo is completely sad. Only three characters are legal, Madam Jumbo, Jumbo Jr. And Timoteo. All the others are unbearable, perhaps the film with the most unbearable Disney character. It's very sad what they do with Jumbo Jr. Another thing that makes me lower the rating of this film is the sequence of them hallucinating, this scene is useless, maybe it only serves for Jumbo Jr to appear on top of the tree, but it could reduce this sequence a lot , the film is already extremely short. This sequence is about ten minutes long, the opening and closing credits together add up to around 5 minutes, and the film has a total of 63 minutes. Good thing it's the last Age of War movie. This Mr. Toad segment is hideous and boring. It seems that it never ends and the story is boring and not at all engaging. There's Cirilo but where's Maria Joaquina? The Ichabod segment is more tolerable, but not as enjoyable as the regular Walt Disney Animation Studios movies. I must have watched this movie ten times in my entire life, and I always get distracted by the Ichabod part because of the awful Mr. Toad segment. It was the first time I managed to pay attention to both stories, and it wasn't worth it, it's really bad, it's just dark, nothing more than that. Film Watched on September 6, 2023.

A tip, if you happen to have insomnia and you've tried medicine and it didn't work, try one of those Disney War Era movies. Put it on the movies and it makes you sleep in the same second. Other movies from that era have some good segments at least, this one doesn't have any interesting ones, I for example don't remember any segment from this movie, and it's been 10 minutes since I watched this movie. Alô, amigos there's the Aquarela do Brasil segment. Have you ever been to Bahia? Has the segment of the same name. How good it is to have fun has the mickey segment. Music, maestro has the segment of hats in love. While this one in 10 minutes I've already forgotten everyone. As much as Fantasia 1940 has two memorable segments for me (the sorcerer mickey and the chernabog) I even consider Fantasia worse than this one because of the length. One more movie for the collection like worst Disney movies. Nice to have a Mickey Mouse short but it doesn't make a miracle to be a bearable movie. The Bongo bear segment is unbearable. Luana Patten was a good actress, but I can't stand puppets so another negative point for the film. If it were a feature focused only on the story of the Mickey Mouse trio, it would be tolerable. There are only two more films to go at this level of unbearable. Then there will only be Caldeirão Mágico, Dinossauro and Fantasia 2000 left for me to give a minimum score. Horrible,. A classic without a doubt. It's amazing what they did almost 100 years ago. Brazilian dubbing is always the best and here is no different. The songs that I like the most in this movie are the song that Snow White sings to clean the house and the classic dwarfs song. I remember the first time I watched this movie as an adult, and I was blown away by the beautiful animation in this movie. Even the music of the dwarfs washing themselves is a good movie but after the music of the dwarfs washing themselves I think it gets boring, maybe it's because I find this music unbearable and I can't concentrate on the movie anymore. To be a real boy you have to act like a pretend child. It's a classic, no doubt. Even though it has errors because of the time it was released, this movie is still good. Some things that bother me is the fact that Pinocchio only acts for his own benefit, he doesn't help any dumb boy, he spent the whole movie running away from school, only to end it because he saved Gepetto (being that Gepetto is in danger just because because of Pinocchio himself) he manages to be a real boy. The music and soundtrack are very good. I believe that while Walt Disney himself was alive this was the most beautiful animated film he produced. Film Watched on September 6, 2023.

I don't know if it's easier to find this movie in other parts of the world, but at least here in Brazil it's very rare to find it. The only good segment of this film is the couple in the hat (it would make a great Pixar feature film). I don't know how much it was worth to me to find this movie and watch it, since it didn't add anything positive for me to watch this movie. Soon I finish this horrible era of Disney and go to the real movies. There are several segments that are very horrible. I thought that to be considered a movie it would have to have a centered story but apparently it's just classical music and some random images that strange people like. I keep imagining kids going to the movies hoping to see a Snow White and Pinocchio movie, and this is it. I respect the opinions of others but this movie having a high rating in the ratings aggregator is something very strange. I doubt anyone will watch this "movie" more than once in the same week. For this movie to be bad, it has to improve a lot. People still have the courage to say that any other era is worse than this one, without a doubt nothing in these films is good, with the exception of Zé Carioca. Bland and storyless films, as the worst Walt Disney Animation Studios films other than War Era I would include Fantasia (1940), Fantasia 2000, Dinosaur (2000) and Black Cauldron (1985) as the worst films from that studio. You have to make an extreme effort to finish these movies but since I want to meet everyone and rank I will have to face it. Boring. Film Watched on September 5, 2023.

It is without a doubt a classic Disney movie. Everything in this film works super well, the melody, the characters are very charismatic and memorable. Engaging and exciting adventures. No defect. Even at that time, from 101 Dalmatians, the animation being ugly does not interfere with the immersion of the film at all, because the story is wonderful. I remember that this is the only Walt Disney Animation Studios film that I prefer the sequel to, well after my marathon I'll see if I still think so. Another movie that I try hard to like but can't. But there are cool moments like, for example, the segment of them as squirrels. This movie has one of the most unbearable characters in all of Disney and perhaps the most unbearable one is Kai, what a boring guy. The animation is pretty ugly like most animations of this era, but most other animations with these traits have better stories. No memorable music for me. I didn't see any evolution in Art, he started one way and ended the same way he started. Marie is maybe the character we know what she looks like but we don't know her name or what movie she's from. I had a friend who had a notebook with the character but I only found out who she was when I was an adult. It's a good movie, especially the geese parts. The soundtrack is good, especially the song "everyone wants the life that the cat has". It has no outstanding characters, it's a good movie to pass the time. Orlando Drummond as always voicing the character who is a dog. Dubbing in Brazilian Portuguese is almost always wonderful and here it is no different, very good. Movie watched on September 05, 2023.

I've tried several times to like this movie, but nothing works for me. One of the worst Disney villains, maybe the worst. Recycling scenes at Disney is normal, but recycling Mowgli characters was the height of laziness. The difference is that even taking the character designs still all Robin Hood characters are anti-charismatic. I'm in doubt about which grade to give but I'm just not going to give it a 1 because there are much worse Disney movies and some songs from that movie are good. They copied the entire scene of Snow White dancing with the Dwarfs, creativity went a long way. Film Watched September 05, 2023.

I find the animation design of this Disney era to be very different and interesting, without a doubt the ones that were the most beautiful were 101 Dalmatians and this compilation of the Winnie the Pooh movie. I can't imagine how weird it would be to see these 2 movies in another animation design. It's not a memorable movie but the characters are very endearing. I didn't know it was a compilation of Winnie the Pooh shorts, so it looks like it's not the same story. One thing I found great about this animation is the way it is told, from the pages of a book. I had in my memory that this movie was much better and more fun. Maybe I got confused with the sequence. But judging from this movie, the characters are kind of cool. My favorites are the Zigzak and the Orville Albatross, very funny. Bianca's music entering the United Nations headquarters is really cool and sticks in your head. The story is even good but I remembered that it was better, I found a lot of continuity errors, even though it is old, there are other older animations by Disney itself that have less. The Brazilian dubbing is perfect. Selton Mello and Marieta Severo are wonderful. I love the whole restaurant scene, so hilarious. Great villain, perhaps the best Disney villain of the post-renaissance era (2000-2009), everything she says and does is very funny, maybe it's because of the Brazilian actress Marieta Severo who dubbed her, and as far as I know she is nor is she a professional dubbing artist. The protagonist has everything to be hated (maybe we hate him more than the villains) but the adventure is so great and funny that we forget to hate. Very good. Movie Watched September 05, 2023.

A classic from my childhood, I'm from 1996 and this movie has a place in my heart. It's still wonderful. Stitch's trajectory is simply spectacular, from villain to hero. Wonderful story. Outstanding and unforgettable characters. Moments that will be remembered by me for eternity. This film is very remarkable. I don't know if nostalgia counts more in this movie for me, but in my opinion this movie is perfect, without defects. Experience 626 you will never be forgotten by me. What does Ohana mean? There are no words to define this film, it is simply a work of art by Disney. I make a great effort not to consider this film in my top 5 at Walt Disney Animation Studios because of my nostalgia for other films from the studio, but there are times when I can't and I have to conform. Until the end of my marathon I'll see what I think, but even so, it's absolutely certain that this movie is in my top 10 for Disney. All the characters are wonderful, especially Timon and Pumbaa who steal the show every time they appear. Perhaps my favorite Disney sidekicks. The spectacular songs, I still prefer the songs of Tarzan and Brother Bear but I recognize that the songs of The Lion King are a work of art. Film Watched September 04, 2023.
