Poultrygeist: Night of the Chicken Dead (2006)
You'll laugh, you'll scream, you'll wish you hadn't eaten
By offending absolutely everyone, POULTRYGEIST can offend no one ... and even if it did, they would be laughing too hard to do anything about it. Nothing is safe from ridicule in this gory TROMA comedy -- fast food people, lesbian people, fat people, Middle Eastern people, Latino people, zombie people, middle-aged male people in scout skirts and thongs ... they all get Tromatized! In addition to buckets of chocolate pudding, chicken guts and lime gelatin, this movie also contains singing and dancing, which sends an over-the-top film right over the edge. Bring a strong stomach, a sense of humor ... and any friends who don't take themselves too seriously.
Cyxork 7 (2006)
A heroic romp to the epicenter of satire
Fun and funny CYXORK 7 grabbed me in the first five minutes, and took me on a wild, satirical trip with plenty of laughs along the way. It sends up everything from Hollywood and TV news to aging adventure heroes and their devoted fans, with an earthquake thrown in for fun. Ray Wise is perfect as Kommander 88. The antics of the TV network GNN anchors are reason enough to see this film (keep your eyes on the "crawlers," they are ruthless). Immerse yourself in the desperate world of location film-making on a budget, with a cast and crew that won't fail to surprise you (or scare you half to death!) I hope sequels -- and CYXORK 1-6 prequels? -- are on the horizon.
