I have read every single Twilight book, and the book I've read the most is, of course, Twilight itself. I went with a friend- I went into the movie with expectations, and my friend went in with no expectations. Maybe that's why I notice the problems more than she does.
My biggest issue with this movie is the pacing. There was no buildup to "So the lion fell in love with the lamb", and I seriously couldn't believe it when it happened. No chemistry up until that point.
However, after you realized they were a couple, it became easier to handle. The scene following the confession of love (Edward wearing sunglasses) is sweet. I love when Edward is in a good mood, but his melodrama through the movie was hard to handle (however, that is not the movie's fault, but the book's).
The ending was very confusing. That's all there is to say about that.
The best part about Twilight, by FAR, was the astounding soundtrack. I probably will buy it.
