Human Resources (2022)
Good first season, became way worse in the second
Human recourses started out great in season one, with intricate and interesting character development that slowly progressed together throughout the show, in a fluent and cohesive manner, and was a funny and enjoyable show. However, season 2 did not live up to the standard we were used to in my opinion. Although the show had plenty funny jokes and moments, the show for me felt extremely rushed. They had some great plot lines too, but they focused more on an individual character for each episode, and tried to squeeze in too much development, and it just felt off with weird pacing. I liked how the characters interacted with one another via the various clients having relationships, but other than that the characters are very individual, and the plot lines do not work well together. This for me made the show very Staccato, and even though the plot lines were good, the entire show felt off due to the weird pacing.
Civilization VI (2016)
Great game
When it comes to making a strategic game with extremely many different tactics you can choose to win, civilisation has nailed it. I personally love this game, and have already well over 500 hours in it. Some minor flaws pull me back from the 10 starts, but still is a great game.
I would recommend this to anyone who is interested in strategy games that are not purely based on warfare, and that point is especially where CIV 6 wins. I enjoy building my empires, often peacefully, whereas with most other strategy games war is the core gameplay mechanic.
Although the game might seem daunting, and huge at first glance, one quickly understands how it functions on a basic level, and then it becomes easier to enjoy the game even more.
