Unfortunately in today's Hollywood most films have become incredibly predictable and become almost a parody of modern screenwriting and Scream a franchise that in the past actively sought to mock and parodying the usual clichés in this modern entertaining world failed to do it and instead joins the club of predictability and ridicule.
From here I would give a few major "SPOILERS"
The film sought to recreate the iconic scene in Scream 1 and others sequels, when they explain the rules to survive and to who is the killer, but although an always fun scene to watch, the girl who explain it, forget to mention the most important rules in today Hollywood: if you are white the chances you died or being the bad guys are 100% higher, and if you are black, Hispanic, LGBTQ member or even better, a combination of those you are pretty much safe and with certainty a good guy, it is funny to find that in the end the bad guys were all white, and all the minorities main characters survives even after being stabs multiple times in ways that no normal people could have survived, that turned the film into a mediocre parody of itself, make the film predictable at best, diminish its quality and overall make the film lost its seriousness.
