Jeepers Creepers: Reborn (2022)
Failed film school class project
I swear I could have directed a much better film and I have zero experience. The writing, directing, acting, costumes, and effects are all akin to a midterm film school project. I doubt such a poorly thrown together piece would receive a passing grade, even from the most lenient professor. None of the characters have a backstory, so there's no way to relate to them or form any attachment. Random strangers meet more strangers, bad things happen, creepy people are acting creepy, and the Creeper puts on his worst performance to date. JC3 was a masterpiece compared to this. JC: Reborn may have irreparably damaged one of the best, and most unique, horror movie creatures of all time. The story and effects are locked into a downward trend from beginning to end, the film is reminiscent of a 2005 straight-to-DVD movie by the time the credits roll - I've seen Zoom meetings with better virtual backgrounds. I will definitely be avoiding any films that these writers and directors touch moving forward. Maybe this movie can eat a few good movies and be reborn into something worth our time in the future.
Erax (2022)
Definitely Not Rated PG
The only song listed in the credits is called Run N*****
This is listed as a Family Movie on Netflix! Do yourself a favor and skip this atrocity. I'm surprised it hasn't been banned.
