I barely knew or expected anything when I sat down to see this movie. I must say I was very surprised. The main role is played perfectly, and the characters optimism and curiosity is so enjoyable that you will want to see more of the movie, just for this single reason. All the characters are very authentic and believable and you really feel like you're watching a real story unfold before you.

The movie itself has plenty of surprises of it own and you never fully know what is going to happen next. The best thing about the movie however, is all the funny scenes. From the main character to the laughs, the challenging of a taboo and the break between old English traditions and the new generation is as refreshing as watching a lucky-go-happy movie.

I saw quite a few comments about this movie being a bit boring and even hard to get into?

The duchess is a wonderful movie, and i would only recommend anything but seeing it, if you are not able to set yourself into a world of emotions. The Duchess clearly isn't made to be explosive but exciting for a person who can feel how the oppression of a woman was at that time, and how this Duchess, who is in the heart of the people. She is so passionate and so emotional, which was acceptable for a woman in that time, that she had to end up falling, but in the end its about how she rise again and get the best out of her life.

Wow... that was all i was able to think after watching this movie. I mean i wasn't exactly expecting too much of this movie, but it took me by surprise. "Keith" is just what I'm looking for in a movie, its fun, its dramatic, its filled with love and its got a point "The Sky is the limit".

Still moved by the movie i dare say that i can not put a finger on it, there is no flops, nothing that could have been done better. Its simply a perfect movie, all you gotta do is sit back and enjoy.

See this if: You are a human being.

10/10 "Fun and touching with a twist of love. What more could you ask for"

What to write? Well I'm still astonished by the ending and the movie all in all. It's rarely a movie stuns me like this, simply makes me want to do nothing but think about how wonderful it was. This movie is so touching, so delicate and beautifully played, by each actor. It gives you a great insight of how it was at court and how it was inside the kings walls, at times beautiful and happy, and at others sad and dark.

To this movie should be a have to do, and I'm glad to have the privilege of writing this.

10/10 "Astunishing and touching, simply a have to see"

I randomly saw this movie because i couldn't find anything else interesting to watch. Well as it turned out i loved this movie, it is about an autistic girl, that starts to focus on sound. (for autistic people they often base fears and joy and other stuff on on thing that they have put focus on, in this case sound). This makes her afraid of flying insects like bees and such as they are hard to hear how they move throw the air, instead of like a ball. She starts training for martial arts, and the rest is for you to watch :D

Over all its a good movie with some thought to it, and some amazing fighting scenes, no matter if you are a fan of it or not.
