I discovered this movie at Christmas time last year, and I can easily say that it is one of the strangest pieces of media I have ever watched. The whole film feels like a fever dream and I regret watching it overall.

I have about a million things that I love about this movie, the music, cinematography, atmosphere etc. I can't explain them all off the top of my head, but I'll leave you with this: This is one of the greatest films ever made. The cast is fantastic and Kubrick is highly stylized in his position here.

Title says it all. Méliès was an interesting man, this is an inspiring movie.
