Storyville: Sex on Screen (2023)
Pathetic even for US
Even for a US perspective on the issue, this "documentary" is pathetic. They are referencing and showing Sharon Stone and Kim Basinger, two of most iconic American actresses, but don't bother to ask their opinion about their movies and scenes. They just presume that every actor is like the C & D-list ones they are interviewing.
Among all this nonsense, Jane Fonda still hasn't decided what to think about her scene. Except for getting drunk, her recollection changes in every interview about Barbarella. Jane, it's a bad movie, not worth watching past the opening credits.
How about interviewing some Oscar winners, like Natalie Portman, Marion Cotillard, Nicole Kidman, Rachel Weisz and Meryl Streep?
Everything Everywhere All at Once (2022)
So stupid!
"So stupid!" is a line in the movie and it best describes it.
When you copy so many themes from other movies (Una mujer bajo la lluvia, Matrix, Se, jie and others) you are supposed to make a parody.
But this isn't funny.
Nor is it an homage.
It's just a complete waste of time.

The New York Times Presents: Malfunction: The Dressing Down of Janet Jackson (2021)
Disrespectful
This is really disrespectful.
It was made without the participation or consent of Janet Jackson.
Some people talk about other people talking about Janet Jackson. Don't waste your time, watch Janet Jackson. 2022.
Reframed: Marilyn Monroe (2022)
Misguided effort
It's not "reframed", it's completely taken out of context.
I've been watching and enjoying Barbara Stanwyck playing strong, independent women in dozens of movies, but some misguided "feminists" are trying to convince me that Marilyn Monroe did something special. And Barbara Stanwyck is just one of many remarkable women in cinema history.
The truth is Marilyn Monroe lacked the talent and could only play one role: "the dumb blonde".
Her lack of talent is obvious in the scenes after the divorce from DiMaggio, where she doesn't quite know what facial expression to fake.
The Matrix Resurrections (2021)
Bad, bad, bad
Where to even begin...Neil Patrick Harris & Jonathan Groff :-)) lol :-)) Is Warner Brothers out of money and could't afford decent actors?
It was bad that Matrix 2 copied Superman and Matrix 3 feels like Star Wars, but the zombie-like scene in this one is truly awful.
The whole point of this movie is to spawn sequels, it's just a money making machine. It's up to you to stop it.
Spencer (2021)
Rich, spoiled brat
The movie gives the impression that Diana was a rich, spoiled brat that was complaining about being richer and more spoiled. That's not what it should be remembered about Diana.
The Last Duel (2021)
The truth? No, it's not
One of the three chapter titles is followed by a subtitle - "The truth" No matter what the chapter is, it's not the truth because we can not be certain of anything that happened in 1386.
Beckett (2021)
80's B movie
The plot of this movie is like from a 80's B movie. Don't waste your time with it.
The Green Knight (2021)
mystico-philosophical nonsense
In the past, it was acknowledged that these kind of plots are dumb. So, they made the movies funny. This one tries some deep, mystico-philosophical nonsense that proves to be just boring.
Cruella (2021)
101+Devil+Birds
One Hundred and One Dalmatians + The Devil Wears Prada + Birds of Prey: And the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn = Cruella
There, I just saved you two hours.
Colectiv (2019)
The hypocrisy
April 2021, Vlad Voiculescu is once again minister of health and close to 200 Romanians are dying every day because of his incompetence, some burned alive in Covid-19 wards.
Minari (2020)
Missing an ending
It seems like the director got bored after two hours and cut the movie short where he should not have to.
Sylvie's Love (2020)
Blissful escapism
We really needed this kind of a movie in 2020. Worth watching for the music only.
Tenet (2020)
Idiotic beyond belief
I'm glad for the pandemic that I didn't pay to see it at the cinema. In the first five minutes you realize it's dumb, then it gets dumber. Skipping past the mumbo-jumbo pseudo-science, it's a combination of old Nolan themes, ideas stolen from other movies, childish subplots and some contemporary political correctness. Do yourself a favor and don't waist your time.
La Gomera (2019)
So dumb
One of the dumbest plots I've ever seen in a movie. Not to mention little dumb moments throughout.
---Spoiler---
"They are watching us! Let's have sex!"
For All Mankind (2019)
Absolute garbage
Don't waste your time with this garbage, better watch Smithsonian Channel's Apollo's Moon Shot.
Apollo 11 (2019)
Epic
Breathtaking images and no annoying commentary. A must see.
Our Planet (2019)
Leftover footage
Leftover footage from the BBC and false informations from the WWF corporation.
SMILF: Single Mom is Losing Faith (2019)
The episode is brilliant
People are too stupid these days to understand it.
One Day at a Time (2017)
Hope it gets on TV
Getting canceled by Netflix might be good news. Maybe a big TV network will pick it up and the show will get the large audience it deserves.
The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind (2019)
Wonderful movie, poorly promoted
I've seen Chiwetel Ejiofor promoting the movie only as "the story of a boy who builds a wind turbine". The movie is so much more than that and it really worth seeing.
Mary Poppins Returns (2018)
Wrong casting
Emily Blunt considered the role silly and refused to act. Lin-Manuel Miranda can't act if his life depends on it.
Vox Lux (2018)
Too subtle for America
The movie is too European for American audiences. And ironizing Lady Gaga, Taylor Swift and others is not a good marketing strategy in the US.
The Favourite (2018)
Good movie, but...
Olivia Colman's greatest performances are her acceptance speeches. Let's be honest, this is not a masterpiece. It's a good movie, but nothing special.
Arthur Miller: Writer (2017)
Wonderful insight
I'm not a fan of Arthur Miller, but the documentary is a wonderful insight into his mind, writing process and motivations.
