Zai Bao Xue Shi Fen (2024)
Female lead acts childish. A big turn off.
I almost abandoned this series several times because of the female lead. The male lead is in his 30s, and she's supposedly in her 20s
and yet she acts like a teenager who's never been kissed and maybe doesn't know even how to kiss and even gets angry with him when he advances.. A better lead would have been somebody who .more closely matched his maturity. Her body language in all of the scenes was ridiculous, except for in the scenes when she's actually playing billiards. If it weren't for her, I would have truly enjoyed this sweet romance. The male lead and all of the supporting actors did a great job..

I love Turkish dramas
Ice watched quite a few Turkish dramas and I'm well on my way with Burned Cocoon. For one thing the Turkish actors are incredibly beautiful. I think because the TV series are so long one gets very familiar with the characters. I get obsessed and every evening I watch at least 2 or 3 episodes. Because we have so long to get to know the characters it's easy to get involved in their lives. Some people think that the acting is not good in Burned Cocoon but I disagree. Some critics think that they don't like the way the male characters treat female characters. If that's the case then one should watch movies from other countries. If you don't want to see a true characterization then don't watch foreign films. I don't want to see a film where false ideas of culture are given. I love the romance and the passion. I love that we get to see the architecture and the landscape. When I'm involved with a Turkish drama I never want them to end. Burned Cocoon is no exception.
