I really enjoyed this, just finished binge watching last night.... So it was good enough to grab my attention.

The two main characters are both flawed but, very lovable in their own way. Without giving too much away, they are both rejects from their background jobs and decide to recruit to take on high risk espionage roles. The two are coupled together, given a home and are meant to me husband and wife... Hence the title.

Ok, there's lots of flaws and the writing isn't perfect as they seem to go from low risk to incredibly high risk in a short amount of time.... But that isn't the point, it's the bits in between that make the show so lovable.

I hope there's a second season... Its kind of been left that way.

Wow, what a film!!! That just blew my head off... Literally!!! Haha.

An absolute stomper of a film, that will keep you encapsulated, shocked (how good, and brutal, the killings are) and totally gobsmacked how realistic everything is. Without giving too much away, I am actually convinced they blew real dead people, or meat things up, as the effects were that realistic and good!!

This man is a badass that you do not want to cross!!

The film has a very Tarantino-esc style feel to it, yet very original in its own way. The story is split into chapters, Tarantino style, and, even though set in WW2, has a very distinct "cowboy western feel".

Im not really one for gore but, this is something else, its a fantastic story with ultra realistic killings, that will leave you wondering,"how the hell did they do that!!".

Definitely my favourite film of this year, maybe even last year as well.

A highly recommended watch.

I just watched this, or at least tried. The acting is terrible, from everyone. What on earth is a world class actor like JM, doing in a film like this? Martin Laurence should stick to comedies, because you can't look at his face and expect him not to be joking. Melissa, well she just wasn't convincing either.

TBH, you can't really blame the actors, it was the script, it was just so obvious!! Nearly every line they would tell you what they was going to do, rather than leave you wonder or trying to work out what was happening. Story line is basically a cheap ripoff of "The Silence Of The Lambs". With psychopath killer in prison and the a pretty young agent tries to get him on her side to help find a copycat killer. Making deals for his sentence, and (which tickled me) told her, "I will tell this information only to you, not the others". Wow haha.

Did the writer not think anyone would get onto that and think we would all think it original???

Maybe it could of passed if the directing was terrible? It was as if the director took the first attempt at every scene. Its a shame because some of the visuals were really very good but then, badly edited with abrupt changes and not enough flow between screens.

Ok, its easy to criticise when looking at a film, and yes, most would not even be able to come close to something like this. The problem is; They are releasing a film into an industry that demands high quality and will get criticised if it is anything but! I amorally surprised it got the production backing behind it, and doubt very much they will recoup!

If there was anything good... The scenes were good, the artwork the psycho killer was making was phenomenal. Write, directed and edited right, this could of maybe even a half decent film but, sorry, unfortunately it just didn't cut it for me... And I guess a few others, judging by the score.

Firstly, can I just say... Why on earth do American producers do remakes of something what is already fantastic... Have you never heard the expression, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it??".

Im dumbfounded why they do this?? Can they not understand English??

Anyway... This story IMO, (and my review will probably never get put on IMDB), but here goes - Is the actually basis of what is going on in the world that we live in at the moment with the pandemic. If you strip all of the fiction about the graphic novel etc, the actual plot and reason behind the series is the perfect plan for what seems to be happening - Play for play!!

In the 60's, the earths population was around 3 billion. By 2020 the earth population had grown to around 7.5 billion. In a mere 60 years the planets population has more than doubled... At this rate if something isn't done, the planet will NOT be able to sustain life on the planet!!

How does this get reduced?

You cannot tell people that they can only have one child. There would be to much up uproar, especially with certain ethnic groups who tend to have very large families. Human rights simply would not allow it.

You don't want to have wars. This would reduce numbers but nowhere near the amount needed.

The perfect solution where most won't suspect a thing. You create a man made virus that will kill millions of people. You control ALL media, globally, and cause mass hysteria and frighten people so badly that will believe anything that the controllers are saying.

Yes, a few million will die but, this is nowhere near the amount they need to reduce the planet to sustainability.

The answer is in the VACCINE!!

You create the miracle cure. Firstly you say its for the old and vulnerable. This should stop the virus dead.

It doesn't save them all but a lot (probably a placebo)

Virus cases are rising.

Ok, we're going to start giving the vaccine to younger people. It doesnt stop you catching the virus, it doesnt stop you spreading the virus, you simply have a slightly better chance of not dying from it. However, we are going to advertise it say'ing, "Get vaccinates, protect those around you, protect yourself and protect the health system".

Yes, well there may be side effects, and because we are in an emergency state were drastic measures need to be taken, we, the pharmaceutical companies, will not be liable for any damages done to people through the use of our vaccines but, YOU NEED TO TAKE IT!... EVERYONE needs to be vaccinated!!! Including children!!

To stop anyone questioning the vaccines, every type of media is controlled by the billionaire pharmaceutical companies and big players. Nothing can be said bad about the vaccines and only reports showing how good it is doing is allowed to be seen. Any medical professional speaking out are disbarred and in most cases, discredited and made to look like a scare monger or conspiracy theorist... 99% believe what they see and hear.

More fear factor is needed so different strains are released, telling people the virus has evolved into a bigger more dynamic type the is more deadly.

You NEED more vaccines and top up boosters!!! Unknowingly to the majority of the planet, are taking all of this in because of fear but unknowingly, the vaccine is killing and seriously damaging peoples health....

People are starting to sense something is not quite right are very reluctant to have their children vaccinated but, with new strains coming out all the time, and mass fear factor hysteria, they have their children vaccinated....

That is the answer to it all... Vaccinating the future... The children.

Why???

The vaccine given to the young makes 60-80% of the them infertile. This is a long term plan. It's not just about money and control, it's about "culling" the planet so it can sustain itself in the future.

In 60 to 80 years time the planets population would reduce to around 1 or 2 billion and be very sustainable because 60-80% of the children that had the vaccine never had kids.

Its the perfect plan... Thank about it??

I truly believe this is what is happening. I really believe someone seen this idea from the series and thought:

"OMG, this is our answer, the solution to the worlds population problem. We create a virus, scare monger people to death, take away all other medicines that could stop the virus, create mass hysteria, cause mass lockdowns, drain resources, cripple economy's which leave's people wanting and screaming out for a solution!! Silence anyone questioning anything differently... Boom, the miracle cure arrive... We want it, we want it, continue the hysteria til most of the planet are vaccinated".

Ok, there was always going to be side effects, when millions die, people have irreparable damage and children coming of age realise they are sterile. At least of most of you are not dead.... We saved you, we are heroes, don't think of anything else, look over there!!

I really cannot believe the reviews I am reading about this film, how funny it is, an instant classics etc... Let me first begin by saying I am a huge Sacha b Cohen fan, I love his stuff, Ali G, Borat & Bruno. All hysterically funny, some what very unnerving to watch at times, but that a massive part of the appeal... They were below the belt humor, especially Bruno, that you really hadn't seen before and didn't know how to react to it, which made it hysterical.

The dictator was non of that. It had brief funny bits in, that were really obvious as well, throughout the film. I was so disappointed as the trailer looked funny and being an avid fan could not wait for the release. But like i say, it wasn't, it was just obvious lets make quick money Hollywood nonsense that so many films seem to be these days.

I actually started to think, "is it me, am I getting too old for this sort of stuff?". I'm 48 and went to see the film with my 20 year old sons who also thought the film was rubbish!!

What is it with so many films these days that they seem to of lost all sense of character? I love a film, I love a good comedy, but I haven't seen anything decent in a long time because there always seems to be something missing or lacking from the the films these days. Has all the writers run out of ideas, or has everything just been done to death now?

Get your act together Sacha, you know your better than this Hollywood bulls**t, don't let those idiots ruin what and who you are!!
