They just don't make em like this anymore...

They just don't make them like this anymore. The thing about miss about this era of movies is that there is a sense of morality.

You know who the good guy is, and you know who the bad guy is. It's so real yet so fake at the same time. It's a typical heist movie except it's being done in Town that's flooded. I don't know, the cute moments with the elderly couple that argues, or the little twist ending they give at the end. It's just an all-around good movie. Some people say it's like Die Hard in water and I could see that, but me being 30 years old in 2020 and seeing this for the first time just makes me long for a simpler more happier time.

The Invisible Man (I) (2020)

Best thriller I've seen in a long time

This movie's opening scene sets the tone for the entire movie. It starts out a little slow but slowly builds the suspense and Elizabeth Moss really went above and beyond in this movie. She really portrays the desperation and feeling of helplessness so well. All in all this was definitely the best thriller I've seen in YEARS. They don't really hardly make em like this anymore.

I wish I could give it less stars...

It's almost as if the movie was written to be the incarnation of the word, "SIIIIIKE".

The character building is very good and it really draws you in, because each character is SO screwed up and their interactions are so convincing, (due to the all star cast) but then the ending is just so cheesy and predictable that it just leaves you feeling like David Blane robbed you of a dollar and you knew he was going to do it, but you feel stupid because he somehow tricked you into letting it happen anyway.

It's worth a watch for sure, but it's one of those movies where after watching it, you feel like it didn't live up to it's full potential. It's hard enough to draw in an audience with a cheesy/unrealistic story, but it's even harder to get an audience to stand up and clap over a crazy unrealistic movie as well. This movie kept you interested enough no matter how corny/predictable the story line was, (due to an all-star cast) only to drop the ball at the ending.

Def watch it, judge it, enjoy it for what it is, move on, probably forget it in 6 months.

Hot garbage

I'm a big fan of Eric Andre and Frank Hassle kinda stuff, I know it's dumb, but at least there are some laughs to be had. The jokes were so dry and stupid I didn't crack a smile the entire time. It just seems like he was trying way too hard to be funny so it just had the opposite effect. Combine that with all of the propaganda doo doo and it's basically just a massive waste of time.

Act of Valor (2012)

Phenomenal movie with real SEALS.

I don't know what all these reviews saying there's just a generic story, because the story is very good. And while you can tell that the guys in this movie are not actors, it is so cool that they are actually real Navy seals and when you watch them in action in this movie it just sucks you right in and it is so convincing because they used real military guys! Definitely a one-of-a-kind movie that I would recommend to anyone, especially if you play call of duty!
