Nice sci-fi for 1,5 hours
27 March 2024
Warning: Spoilers
Adam comes from 2050 to 2022 by mistake to find her wife, who he thought was murdered, but he was supposed to travel back to 2018. He meets his younger self, 12 years old boy, and they go to 2018 together to stop time travelling. There they meet their dads once again. It was a pretty nice sci-fi watch for. Thought at the end, I thought young Maya would take the bullet by herself because she can't stand being a person like her future self, but science happened anyways.

What was the quote of ancient Romans? "Enjoy yourself. It's later than you think." Indeed, I need to remember that next time I take things too seriously.

Amazing

Warning: Spoilers
I can't believe how I missed this movie! Gotta read the book as well. The original story as I read was about these two women had a lesbian relationship after Einer becomes Lili. The movie says the opposite tho, that Gerda was supportive to Lili although she was in absolute pain for losing her husband. I loved both Gerda and Lili, and can't believe Eddie Redmayne didn't win academy award for best actor. I felt Einer's pain as he was trapped in a male body and Lili's excitement about becoming a woman. And Gerda, ah Gerda. It's not always possible for someone who loves to accept that kind of a change. Being supportive is whole another level. She must have loved her very much.

A very nice romance

Warning: Spoilers
Great acting. Happy to see Alan Rickman again.

"Is love a fancy, or a feeling? No. It is immortal as immaculate Truth, 'Tis not a blossom shed as soon as youth, Drops from the stem of life-for it will grow, In barren regions, where no waters flow, Nor rays of promise cheats the pensive gloom."

Nice movie
10 January 2022
To start with, I have to say I'm quite surprised how they made a movie, which is more than two and a half hours, considering how short the book is (in my country it's less than 49 pages). They just got the idea from the book and the rest is something else. For example, original Benjamin Button isn't that loyal to his girlfriend. I'm glad the first time I saw the movie I didn't know about the book. Anyways, if I ingore this fact, the movie is nice. I liked acting, music and cinematography. 2,5 hours well spent, again.

Overrated
6 January 2022
Warning: Spoilers
I don't know if I set my expectations too high but I was looking for more. I loved how it started, then I hated the most weird argument scene. I mean, it wasn't even clear how it started. They say divorce attorneys find bad in good people (heard from another movie but I guess it's true) and it was nice to see how two divorce attorneys accuses the other part. Still I think it's not all clear why they ended up with a divorce. It feels like there are lots of stuff unsaid (like why the guy slept with that employee if he wasn't the one who wanted to divorce). Overall, I think scenario could be better, and acting could be much better.

4 points only for De Vito!
16 November 2021
Warning: Spoilers
Well I didn't expect too much from this movie, and as I guessed it was a cheesy movie about Christmas. A guy moves into a new house and wants that house to be seen from space, so he makes his house extremely shiny. And the neighbour across the street finds this annoying, so they start a small fight. I love happy endings, so I liked how it ended. But the casting director did a horrible job really! Those twin sisters for example. Did they have any acting job before or what? It was so bad! Anyways musics, De Vito, and happy ending I liked. Also I gave an additional point to the sweet idea of flying Santa's cart and kid in the car seeing it through sunroof yelling "it's real! I knew it!" Loved that idea! Overall, 4/10.

Good scenario and acting, but very predictable
16 November 2021
Warning: Spoilers
Well it's no surprise to see that almost all cast did a great job with acting, and loved the scenario. I like the creative mind of Korean film industry. However some parts, especially those about games were so predictable so I found myself saying "oh maaaan not again, that's so cliche!" Still I liked that at the end it was the old man, who was behind all of this. Fair, unfair, betrayal, friendship, the limits of people... you can see all aspects of humankind when it's a matter of life and death. Brutal but very true. I'm happy he took the little kid and gave it to 218's mother, but why the hell you didn't get on the plane? Well I'd go for a different ending ofc but what they did was necessary for a second season right. Considering also screenplay, decor, costumes, music this series is 8 out of 10.

It was lovely but...
7 November 2021
Warning: Spoilers
Couldn't meet my expectations. Idk why but I was looking for something more fun. There were a few fun scenes but that was it. The scenario isn't that good, at the end I was like "are you kidding me?" with that ending. It seems like the writers pushed it so much to make it funny but it didn't work. I loved we could see the musicians in the movie. Anyways, with all good comments I've heard so far I can say it's overrated. It's lovely, nice to watch movie if you've 2 hours to spend unless you expect too much from it.

happy endings really?
2 November 2021
Warning: Spoilers
I was thinking it would have a happy ending, but maybe it was the happy ending. Maybe what we expect to see isn't always the happy ending. I didn't feel comfortable with that at first, but this is what we've all got to do. Adapt and move on.

The worst vampire movie ever
1 November 2021
Here is my additional one point because it never used the actual word "vampire" during the whole movie. I liked only that. Other than that it's a mess. I seriously don't remember seeing a vampire movie that bad ever in my life.
