As I Am (2020)
Wearing Glasses in the Shower
The writing, acting, and directing in this film are amateurish and just plain awful. When it starts with some black guy wearing his glasses in the shower, I had to fast forward to see if there was anything worth seeing and I can tell by the other reviewers that I didn't miss much. I just hate it when I try to give a film a chance but it is so terrible that it doesn't deserve one. How can someone...anyone...make a film this bad, watch it, and distribute it for viewing??? Who ever told the director he has directing talent? Who ever told the actors they had acting talent? Who ever told the writers they can write? It just blows my mind.
Cycles (2022)
Claustrophobic
The entire movie takes place in a tiny, sparse dormitory room. The 2 characters are brothers having a conversation/argument. The younger brother is a pouty, depressing snot. The older brother tries to lift his spirits. It is never revealed why the young snot is such a terrible person. Throughout the movie, I hoped he would kill himself and end his suffering and ours. He could have dove out the high-rise window or stuck an ice pick through his eye. But we are not that lucky. He has a haircut like Moe of the 3 Stooges and looks very mentally challenged. He seems to have mother issues. He is very unlikeable. He deserves to have very bad things happen to himself.
Gayborhood (2017)
Horrid
The cast is composed of 100% very unattractive people, both in their physical presence and in their mannerisms. I do not see the point of men parading around as women. The only woman in the show is a morbidly obese, rotund f*ghag with an attitude which makes me hope someone hurts her very badly. Why do effeminate gay men always seem to have a dykey woman hanging around and trying to give orders to everyone? The plot seems to consist of how insulting they can be to each other. After the 2nd episode, I fastforwarded through some of the other episodes and it was just all more of the same. Don't waste your time like I did.
On the Fringe of Wild (2021)
Confusing and Cringey
From the first scene, I was confused. A very effeminate, dainty guy who is obviously gay is bullying another guy for being gay. Dainty guy's girlfriend joins in on the bullying and then expects dainty guy to kiss her and he obviously doesn't want to...because he is obviously gay. Then another gay guy enters the picture and this one is fat. Yet they all keep calling one of skinny ones fat. Then 2 of them end up in a cottage out in the woods in winter with no heat but fully stocked with food yet they are out shooting rabbits to eat. What does it all mean? I didn't stick around very long to find out.
A Passage of Time (2020)
Just Terrible
I could only make it through the first half hour, which seemed like 8 hours. The lead actors are repulsive. They are pretending that one of them is in the closet and no one in his family knows he is gay. Anyone can see that he is gayer than gay. Both males have some kind of perverted androgynous bodies...absolutely NO muscle development...that resemble 10-year old girls. For some reason, we are forced to see them shirtless and touching each other. Very unsettling and nauseating. Then the parents and an aunt show up and are all over-the-top caricatures of the kind of relatives that no one would want. Then I decided to stop watching.
The Getaway (2017)
Just Terrible
Get this...the film is so badly produced that in the first 15 seconds the name of the production company (American Dream Team Productions) is actually misspelled in the credits as "American Drem Team Productions." That's just the first example of how flawed this piece of excrement is. After the first 10 minutes, it is obvious that the acting and sound quality is equally bad.
Si-e-nui sa-rang (2017)
Just Awful
Just some of the things I hated:
1) Disgusting eating habits...those people inhale their food like wild animals.
2) The lead character has a Moe haircut and a deadpan facial expression that never changes.
3) Why do they all sit on the floor when there are chairs right there?
The Surface (2015)
After 35 Minutes I Can't Stand Anymore
Very low budget with bad acting and bad script. Aside from the fact that the lead character is so unlikeable and the production values are so poor, it's impossible for me to be interested in the plot because the men are so effeminate. One particularly annoying detail is that in MANY scenes...and I mean MANY...they are drinking beer out of bottles with no labels. I never saw a beer bottle without a label. In addition, the CONSTANT need for the lead character to tuck his long stringy girly hair behind his ear...time after time after time after time... is too distracting. Anyone ever hear of a ponytail??
Goodbye Seventies (2020)
20 Minutes In...and I am OUT
I gave the film 20 minutes to interest me, but it failed. The characters are so unattractive, especially the short fat dark sissy "friend" and the acting is so bad. Tip to directors everywhere: when an actor is not a smoker, and the script requires a smoker, make him learn how to smoke before casting him. These guys, supposedly portraying smokers because almost all adults smoked in the 70's, all look like they never picked up a cigarette or inhaled one before. They all hold them gingerly and do not know how to put them to their lips or inhale like a real smoker does.
I cormorani (2016)
NOTHING...No Really...NOTHING
It has no plot or script. Just 2 boys with too much time on their hands doing NOTHING. Why would anyone actually watch it? I hate the producer's guts for making me waste so much time thinking something was going to happen. I think that would be an understandable minimum expectation.
15 Years (2019)
Tedious and Confusing
I'm half an hour into this movie and just can't go any further. The plot is too confusing and the main character too unlikeable. I want the 30 minutes of my life back.
More Than Only (2017)
Waste of Time
I could not sit through the entire length of this horrid film. The lead is a very unlikeable character, for some reason full of himself and yet not remotely good looking. It is obvious that a woman wrote and directed the movie because she knows nothing about male interaction, gay or straight.
Big Eden (2000)
Cringeworthy Ending
The lead is an unattractive, whining, adolescent fool. Seeing him in a prolonged french kissing scene on a dance floor at the end was enough to make me throw up in my mouth.
Glamour Dolls (2016)
Bad Casting
The actor playing Adam is hideously, grotesquely homely. Horrible buck teeth, no chin, poor posture, greasy hair. Yuk. Who could believe that anyone would hire him as a sex escort???
Pornstar Pandemic: The Guys (2020)
Worst of the Worst
Worst thing I have watched in a long time. I couldn't make it past the first interview with a very effeminate, empty-headed "model" who is full of himself/herself even though not being very good looking or sexy. For some reason, he showed viewers every room in an almost empty house full of assorted junk.
Rock Hudson: Dark and Handsome Stranger (2010)
Terrible Production Values
So much repetitively blurred content and camera jump cuts made me feel the need for a vision test after the first half hour of this mess. I stopped watching altogether in the middle after seeing more of that narrator Tom Santopietro with the horrid bottom teeth shaped like fangs than of the subject of the film. I couldn't hear what he was saying because I couldn't stop looking at the horror of his teeth.
X (2019)
"Anything" goes????
This is a very childish and sanitized version of someone's fantasy of "anything and everything" goes. For starters, the "secret" parties do not allow smoking or rape or minors. So I'm not getting why anyone in the cast thinks these parties are somehow off the charts. I've been to much better sex parties with much more attractive people. The leading lady of this mess is pudgy and homely and needs less lipstick and more teeth whitener, as well as acting lessons.
Miasto 44 (2014)
So Confusing
The stylistic choices that switch from blood and gore to Disney-like cartoon fantasy and then back again totally confused me. After viewing the movie, I didn't know there was supposed to be a love triangle until I read other reviews. If it was a love triangle, why did the guy and the blonde girl keep referring to each other as brother and sister??? And was the happy ending with the 2 of them together just a fantasy like when they were kissing and bullets and grenades were magically flying around them??? Or did they really survive?
Just Say Love (2009)
Tedious
I tired very quickly of Guy's helplessness and whining and began to focus on that horrific lump on the left side of his face, which I think needs a biopsy.
Hatachi no binetsu (1993)
One of the Worst Movies Ever
Lousy movie. I cannot tell one character from another and do not care about any of them. Why do all the boys have haircuts like Moe of the Three Stooges?
