Susan Blakely and Pauley Perrette give outstanding performances in this short film as a mother and daughter trying to bridge the physical and emotional distance created over the years and come to terms with the daughter's difficult living circumstances. The film examines one in a series of daily phones by the mother to her HIV+, lesbian daughter living in a different part of the country. Director Marc Saltarelli and writer Tom O'Leary tackle the difficult subject matter with restraint, humor and emotional resonance. Great work all around! The film has been playing the festival circuit and won big at the Beverly Hills Shorts Festival 2010 with Jury Awards for Best Film and Best Drama, and a tie in the Best Actress category for the film's stars Susan Blakely and Pauley Perrette.

Lilly's Light is at live action musical adventure centered around an enchanted lighthouse which serves as a foster home to a melting pot of kids. Lilly, the keeper of the lighthouse, is played by Sherry Hursey (Home Improvement, Bring it On). The eclectic cast includes Fred Willard, Mindy Sterling, Gregory Paul Martin, Jean-Luc Martin and Hal B. Klein. With a melting pot of foster kids, a few exotic talking pets and a cast of zany characters, Lilly helps guide the children through the challenges of everyday life and growing up. With joy, love and laughter as her tools, Lilly helps everyone learn that "Life is Full of Possibilities!" Lilly's Light illuminates the significant social issue of challenges facing foster children nationwide as well as entertains children through music and song. Young children in particular will enjoy the original songs.
