Nirbaak (2015)
Beautiful....
What a beautiful film! I don't know why it has such low reputation. It's not that deep or anything. Anybody who pays attention to cinema can get it. It's also visually a treat to the eyes. I enjoyed Anjan Dutta's acting and Sushmita Sen, oh god! She was like a goddes in here!
Bravo Srijit!
Seinfeld: The Finale (1998)
A perfect Ending...
Now this is how you you end a show. A very cleaver way to reunite all of the main characters and memorable moments. And I only rated this episode of Seinfeld other than the episode invitation which I rated one star. I am shocked to see this episode has such low rating! Maybe people were disappointed to see their favorite characters in jail. But I believe they deserve some kind of punishment for what they were doing the entire series.
Bo Burnham: Inside (2021)
One of the best thing of our time
People know Bo Burnham as a comedian, musician. I knew him as a serious director of Eighth Grade, which I loved very much and a actor from promising young women which was also a serious role. But now I know him from this thing. And I already became the biggest fan of him. I haven't been obsessed for years the way I am obsessed with this thing since last two days. I think this is one of the best thing happened in our disastrous, cursed decade. I'm calling it a thing because I don't know what should I called whatever this is. At a first glance it kinda looks like a youtube content. But that's way too little for a masterful thing like this one. The quality of this is special belong in the same league of cinema.
Even though they are calling it a comedy special but after finishing it the comic feel doesn't stay, a kind of depressed feeling fills in your body. Bo gives us a glimpse of that in the beginning. In a world full of crisis he asks in a musical tone, "Should I be joking at a time like this?" Then he jokes about everything and mocks himself in the entire time. That is one of the things I love this kind of thing. It shows me how self-obsessed, Hippocrate, pretentious shit I am! But the sad thing is at least Bo is a talented guy, whereas I am a complete loser! And that's why I instantly love this depressed comedy stuff. It's like, "Thank god I am a loser, otherwise how could I relate with Bojack Horseman or Bo Burnham in this special!"
It's not entirely depressed to be honest. There was a lot of funny songs and scenes. I loved "White women's instagram" part the most because of how beautifully he portraited the entire "instagram aesthetics" in less than 5 minutes, where our generation work so hard to create and think how artistic they are. He showed how easy, little and meaningless their entire thing is!
I can say a lot of thing about this special, but I don't think that will be enough. I will just say one more thing. Those of us who are problematic (and feel proud about that) will like this thing very much.
Seinfeld: The Invitations (1996)
Susan deserves better...
I hated this episode, I hated it. It's not funny. I know what dark humour is and this isn't it. You don't create an emotional attachment to a character, kill her and laugh about it. This is not how dark humour works. Susan deserves much better. She deserved much better than George when she was alive. And now in her death she deserves even more. It made me sick when the laugh track was going on.
In F. R. I. E. N. D. S there were jokes about dead people too, but we didn't have emotional attachment to them. And when disastrous things happened to main characters, the audience didn't laugh, I respected that.
Person of Interest: Super (2012)
Rear Window ripoff
The whole time I think about The movie Rear Window. The title of this episode should be connected to the movie.
