Love, Death & Robots: The Very Pulse of the Machine (2022)
Good visuals, not much else
I hate this kind of stories where everything is a subtle message that you have to uncover by thinking like you have all the time in the world to study what you just saw, I preffer stories with way less pretentious dialogues and poetry, it said nothing to me.
Why make this a dumb storie about an astronaut talkint to a thing about existencialism and not just a survival episode about an astronout trying to come back to the ship and get the body of her crewmate?
This kind of stories are perfect for snobs that love to feel smarter than the rest because they watch french cinema from the 40's with pretentious dialogues that lead nowhere.
Ku bei (2021)
A non official Crossed adaptation
It has everything you want to see if you heard Crossed adaptation, it has the gore, he gore and the gore, it shows no fear to crossing some boundaries too, wich is what you would expect from asian cinema. Sadly, that's all the things I can say in favour of the movie.
The story sucks, is pretty basic and unfilfilling in any way, a problem that Crossed also has since the creators only want to show things that are more and more brutal but without a decent reason why or how the protagonists reacts and why. The acting is good for moments, and really bad for others. The ending is exactly what you would expect, and in this case is such a pitty, it obviously makes sense but it's just lazy, it's pretty rushed and it shows they were short on budget by the end.
Primal: The Primal Theory (2022)
The weakest episode yet
It felt like a total different series, I don't mind not seeing Spear or Fangs. An episode about Mira's past would be cool and it doesn't need them to appear. But jumping from one of the ebst episode we had full with action, to an episode about a group of rich men on the England of 1900 is really weird.
And don't tell me the episode has an idea that I didn't get, the idea is not subtle at all, civilized men turning into animals for survivial. The start of the episode was pretty decent, bu turning what could have been a debate episode full of just conversation for the first time hearing english, turned into them just screaming and fighting with a lunatic. It's not even the story of the episode what makes me but this note, but the development, turning it into Primal but in 1900 wich was really dumb.
Kung Fu Panda 4 (2024)
Unnecesary
Man, this movie was a huge waste of time. It's basically Cars 3 with the previous movies. All of it was predictable, and not in a good way.
In Puss In Boots 2 for example (I'm using it because is the last good movie DreamWorks has done) you could see where the plot was going, but the characters and jokes made is really enjoyable. In this one, I disliked every new character and the treatment to the old ones.
Po doesn't know if he is good with martial arts or if he is a newbie that anyone can beat.
Zhen is the cliche of evil character and ends up being bad and worked for the villain but she liked Po so now she is good, and somehow ended up as the Dragon Warrior just because.
The Furious 5 have not a single line of dialogue in the movie, they apear a few seconds at the beggining and at the end, doing nothing for the plot.
The precious villains were massacred in here, specially Shen since he appears and does nothing at all, not a line, not a reaction, nothing. Tai Lung spoke and reacted but it was really unnecesary, Kai was the same as Shen, but him being an enemy of Oogway.and not one of Po made this kinda understandable.
Basically, this movie didn't need to happen, but DreamWorks is compiting with Disney to see who destroys their loved franchices better, first Megamind and now this. Gotta give it to them tho, this one is WAY better than Megamind 2, but still bad compared to even the third one.

Lost braincells watching this
The first half of the movie wasn't that bad, a solid 5 with the absurd gore and 10 galons of blood per people. But even in this first part I could see that the characters lacked not only depth, but reflexes and IQ points.
The police officers were one of the dumbest characters I've ever seen in my life, my god they would see a friend beeing brutaly destroyed with a knife 5 feet from them and just stand there watching for the 20 seconds the excecution happened, whoever gave this people their position should be ashamed. And after the plot-twist in the middle, it all went downhill faster than an overwheight woman who tripped trying to get down. The movie goes from dumb action to IQ negative action, not a single character is memorable, not a single character does anything slightely inteligent.
If you feel like you are too inteligent and want to become a little bit less, then watch this ecuse of a movie. Good gore does not make a good movie, you can have a bad script and make the movie watchable with good direction and great gore, but this script is something my little counsing would write trying to make the most edgy movie in the world were everyone bleeds the amount of blood worth of an entirely hospital with the slightlest harm in their bodies.
Im Westen nichts Neues (2022)
Great film but flawed
Man, I loved most of it, but the ending ruined it for me, I know it's supposed to be kind of poetic how Kat died a few hours before 11, and how the protagonist was injured with a deadly wound just a few seconds before; but it was funny to me, it was so forced and strange that I just laughed at it.
When Kat went to the woods I was expecting the kid to be there, and Oh Surprise, he was and he shot him in an absurd scene. And that back stabbing I know it was supposed to be like a shock but it was so random that ended up being funny without trying to be. I don't really mind that at the end evryone of the group died, but those 2 last deaths were so stupid that killed most of the movie for me.
iCarly (2021)
Loving It
I'm really loving this revival, I miss Jannette but I understand why she refused to participate, I also apreciate that the majority of the actors in the dub are back. The bad part is that some jokes are not funny at all, and you can clearely see that the budget is small in the background, the Shay's apartment is lacking of the things that made it unique, it seems really grey and kind of dead. And MY GOD Harper is the worst thing in this series, her character is not funny at all and the only thing that makes her "unique" is that she is an independent bisexual black woman that everyone loves and has no flaws. Millicent is pretty strange, I like her sometimes, her character gives some good moments, but at the same time I find her kind of annoying. The fanservice is pretty cool tho, a little bit over the top at moments, but I really like the revival none the less.
Irréversible (2002)
Not as good as they say
If it wasn't for the fact that the movie is narrated backwards, this would have been another r and revenge. There is nothing really destacable about this film except for the acting that is incredible. I know that the movie was made backwards to make a point about how revenge changes nothing and things like that, but it was so dissapointing to see that you get to see the revenge and then the r$%e, it makes the scene less satisfactory and not in a philosophical way, just ruins what in other case would have been an average story about r and revenge, like I Spit On Your Grave. I think the director just wanted to do something different and ended up with this pretentious film that only has good acting and shock value.
Everything Everywhere All at Once (2022)
Just... WAO
What a unique movie, that's the best word to describe it: "unique". It can be a bit heavy, and at first I didn't understand anything, mainly because I saw it in English with subtitles and the Chinese accent along with the times they mixed English with Chinese confused me. But good God, what a special movie, it's so strange that I don't get any adjective other than the one that is unique. I enjoyed the ending very much, it was very well closed and I did cry several times because of the stress of some situations and how well acted those scenes were.
The Batman (2022)
Why so many bad rating all of the sudden?
A few days back this movie was one of the best in thes platform, and now has an 8. I don't know if this is some form of review bombing or what but it's pretty curious. And some reviews seem to come from people that havent even watched the movie. This movie passed from a 9.2 to an 8.4 and now is at 8.0. With this rate of bad critics this movie will end up in 7.5 in no time and I don't undestand why. I loved this Batman and this idea of a darker and serious take of the hero, different from the almost Marvel Batman that we have in the JL for example. This movie is inspired by movies likes Se7ev, what did you expect? Spiderman Far From Home with jokes that break the strong moments of the movie?
PS: The relationship between Batman and Catwoman in this movie was incredible, I really liked them and I think Zoe Kravitz does a marvelous interpetation as Selina Kyle.
The Power of the Dog (2021)
It was ok
THe first half of the movie is rather slow and quite boring, nothing really happens except for Phil being a despicable man. The second half is quite entertaining but for some reason the ending is so fast and bad driven. It was like "Well, it seems like the movie is going somewhere now. Let's finish it in the next 5 minutes and let the audience wonder why the only entertaining part of the movie is in the last 10 minutes"
The House (2022)
Not sure what I just watched
It was good, doesn't deserve more than a 7 in my opinion, the stories were ok but a little bit basic; I could see the twist from some distance, the third storie was the best in my opinion. The second one was so strange and unconfortable, I think thats what the writers wanted so thats fine, but the ending of the second one was so strange even when I undestrood the idea behind it. Maybe I'm just too dumb to undestand the finece of this masterpiece, but for me it was an OK show.
Don't Look Up (2021)
The most terrifying scene I've seen in a movie
I know this is a comedy movie, but the moment the asteroid destroys the earth and you see the protagonists talking with everything moving, is just terrifying for me, and the moment the wall collapses... MY GOD I WON'T BE ABLE TO SLEEP TONIGHT. The comedy is pretty strange at moments and the last scene with Jonah Hill had me dying. I think its a little bit larger than it needs to be, but incredible non the less.
Jiok (2021)
It was ok
Im not gonna remember a lot about this show next week, but it was fun. The idea is brilliant, the execution quite poor. Those last seconds really shocked me tho; if there is a second season I really think it would be better, I hope what happens means something good and not some dramatig crap, it was really relieven when I saw that. The las episode is the best without a doubt, but it isn excellent neither. If that lady really resurrected then I hope is her and not something different like God incarnated or something like that, I want to see her with her children.
Kairo (2001)
Why does this movie has so many fans?
I just watched it with some friends and we didn't understand enything. Nothing scary happens, just a bunch of actors saying some pretentious crap about lonelyness. Not worth the time we spend on this at all.
Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness (2021)
Not bad, not good either
The 6 is for the excellent animation and the fanservice with the games. And obviously some Leon x Claire moments here and there. But the story is just bad, is almost like RE 6 but with less adrenaline. Leon does everything, and Claire is there just because... She doesnt do almost anything in the entire serie, the plot would be the same if she wasnt there at all. And they definitively want to make a second season, I expect it to be way better. Because the villains and mosnters in this season were just plain and boring.
Kotetsujo no Kabaneri (2016)
How to destroy a good idea in the first episode
So in this anime they say that when a zombie bites you, you are dead. Is a really cool idea that is obviusly not original, but it makes things difficult for the protagonists. Except that it doesn't, in the very first episode the protagonist gets biten and survives in the most dumb way posible. So instead of a zombie anime, is more of a half-human half-monster tematic anime that is starting to bore me.
Shûmatsu no Valkyrie (2021)
What a desapointment
They used all their money on the second fight, and I can clearly see that it wasnt that much money anyways. The animation is horrendous. The first fight is like seeing a Power Point presentation with coloured pages of the manga. At least the voices are ok, and the ost is really damn good. Its the only two things that they did right.
Love, Death & Robots: Snow in the Desert (2021)
Mad Max meets Terminator... with an albino
My god, that animation was priceless. But I dont whink this episode deserves a 10. It reminds me to the episodes of the werewolves in the first season, but apocaliptic. It has a lot of potential for a movie, or an independent series, like most of the episodes in the first season. And this episode had Love, Death & Robots.
Love, Death & Robots: Pop Squad (2021)
Not what I expected
For a moment a thougt: "Ugh, an episode about rich people bad, poor people good, how original". But no, is very different in a good way. Is about people who lives forever without children and people who live forever because they think that having children is the way to make your life ok. The animation is fascinating, and the emotions in those silences is overwhelming. I think that people that doesnt want to have children are going to think that this is a pro-life episode (a very welcome one if you ask me in a world that doesnt ios pro-life anymore) but a desagree with that people, because they doesnt say that people who desnt have or want children are bad. They use the same argument that pro-choice uses: "Your point of view is selfish becuase blablabla"
Kol (2020)
What a waste...
This movie was a solid 8 in my opinion, a great concept and performance. But they had to ruin it all with that ending. For what? An unnecesary sequel? Was it worth it? Because the director destroyed everything with that post credits scenes. I hate when directors ruin a good movie just because they want it to be a saga. What are they gona do in the sequel? The same thing with the phone? Because all that ending is a paradox itself; how its gona even work?
Like I said: what a waste...
