Waste of time
28 May 2021
Slow moving, disconnected, the main character, the detective moves from scene to scene as if in a daze. She is so tortued i can't even feel sorry for her. I struggled through the entire film asking myself why am I still watching this? I was hoping it would improve. It didn't.

First season
19 February 2021
Fantastic, exciting, intriguing humor and some beautiful scenes of the countryside. Interesting characters. I watched the first season in one evening. But...when the second season started it was a disappointment. What would have made a good movie is stretched to three seasons. Lost interest and not going to watch the rest. Immediately thought of Thelma and Louise but liked Wanted better.

What a hat?
2 May 2019
First I'd like to know who put that foolish hat on mr. O'brien,??? It's hard to get past it. I dont know the real story, the facts before Hollywood got a hold of them, but I hope they had nothing to do with the movie. O'Brien is angry most of the time. What a cast! Excellent! Movie just didn't make use of all the talent.

Been done too many times
28 April 2019
Predictable! That sums up this film. Every line of dialogue, every scene, from beginning to end. It's a Hallmark moment or a sloppy Harlequin story. Complete waste of time. Format has been done so many times. Brat kid too but must not tell the kid the whole story. So one can guess wh as happens next.

Spoiler
12 March 2019
Warning: Spoilers
Made me angry when the dog was thrown out the window. Lost interest in the film immediately. Unlike another reviewer, I saw nothing funny about it. Nothing humorous just poor taste. No interest seeing the entire film. Even though the scene was done by shadows on the wall still poor taste.

Worthless

Not accurate, .made for the not so bright viewer. There are such things as background checks! No spoiler here but it is a spoiler of a movie.

More than out dated
29 June 2016
Warning: Spoilers
This film is far more than out dated. I found it nearly impossible to care what happens to the characters. Twins are thrown into the mix and the husband had no idea? He's a doctor for pete's sake. The plot is juvenile and full of holes. It hops and skips through events. I struggled to watch the entire film. Even being a 1930s and forward film buff, I can't help but wonder why it was ever even filmed. I would rather have watched an episode of I Love Lucy. But I did notice there was a double bed and not twin beds in the master bedroom. Although the doctor sits on the bed momentarily the two are never on the bed at the same time even with one foot on the floor.

Why does this film still exist?
17 May 2016
Warning: Spoilers
First time I've seen this film. I grew up on westerns and have been a life-long fan of these films. The list of TERRIBLE includes dialogue, acting, music, and story. I was watching this film just to be watching something. I quickly took notice when the horses were falling into camouflaged trenches, some with wagons following them in. In 1965 this should not have happened! It shook me to a scream. The film is over 48 years old but where was the safety for the animals? I'd burn every copy of this film. I'm still upset over those scenes. It was obvious most of those horses suffered severe injury or death. I will mark the director, actors, anyone involved with this so-called western off my list of "to watch" films and move them to my "do not bother" list. Unbelievable!!!!

John Adams (2008)
old home movie?
21 May 2008
I was anxiously awaiting the start of this mini series. I was so looking forward to this series as my family is related to Abigail. Unfortunately, I couldn't get past the first part. The camera was rarely still. I didn't feel I was walking through the events with the actors if that was the objective. Motion sickness became a distinct possibility. So many close ups! I was very disappointed. Had I wanted to watch old family movies, I'd have dug out the 8mm projector and had the same effect. I can't rate the series because I couldn't watch it. What could this type of camera work possibly add to the film? I tried again with some of the other parts but had lost the continuity by then.

used running W
22 November 2006
This film is one of my all time favorites. I am a true blue fan of the western. Teaming of Newman and Redford worked so well! However, I am so disappointed in the use of a running W on the white mule. Yes, they didn't break the mules neck when it fell...but they could have...all for the making of a scene??? Finding out what was done to the mule has made me see the film in a totally different light. It is no longer one of my favorites. Just because it wasn't illegal to use this horrible way to make the mule "fall on his face" doesn't make it right. That's why we have laws to protect animals when filming in the United States. Had I not know about the use of the running W I would have rated the film high, but will not now. Nor will I watch the film again. I am so disappointed that both Paul and Bob went along with the abuse of the white mule.

Waste of time
17 November 2006
I have never seen such a slow, extremely painful to watch movie. The film was very depressing and hard to get involved in, never mind or even care what happens to the characters. It tries to be so DEEP that I'm sure there are some that would claim it is an amazing film. It's like claiming you can see the Emperor's New Clothes! The music is drab as is the script, costumes, and sets. Could have easily been filmed in black and white. It could have been a silent movie with ease. I have watched the film three times now trying my best to figure out one redeeming quality and just can't. All I come up with is what a waste of my time and I did it three times!!!

Any horse person would be very upset by this fairy tale
5 November 2006
From the first scenes I was ready to leave. Had I not been with a group I would have. I have had horses my entire life and have yet to find one that would "protect" me or anyone from a large truck. What a farce! The girl is stupid and should never have been allowed on a horse. Then her stupidity doubles as she attempts to reconnect with the horse SHE ruined! The mother is just as dumb. I have never been so disappointed in a film with Robert Redford. The characters in this film are just plain stupid. That's the only word I can find to describe them. From beginning to end the movie was awful! I almost asked for my money back. I found I had no sympathy for any of the characters and didn't care what happens to them. What ever bad happens to them they deserve. My only concern would be for the horses and I would have had the girl and her entire stupid family arrested for abuse and endangerment. I guess you can see I didn't find anything good about this film. I have never felt so strongly about just a movie!

Won't even be a cult favorite
17 October 2006
This film is the rock bottom of awful. If I heard one more character calling "Lucy" I was going to be sick. The plot line is thin as is the script. The actors did the best they could with a terrible script. It was so predictable. Scary? I'll say only one scene in the entire film got my attention for a split second. For shock value they threw in a quick eye blinking scene of dead, mutilated pigs. Same old, same old, a kid so stupid she wanders around in the middle of the night with a flashlight, doors that won't open no matter how long the guy on the outside says open the door. This film just wasted more than an hour of my time.

Third Watch (1999–2005)

intriguing, draws viewer in
17 October 2006
Watching THIRD WATCH is like reading a good book I just can't put down. I'm not one to "get hooked" on programs, like soaps, but THIRD WATCH got me good! I only wish I'd seen the original airings. I don't want to miss a single episode of this action packed series. The viewer is drawn in to the actors' characters causes and effects. The lives of the characters are deeply affected by their jobs as fire fighters, police person, or paramedics. The cast are excellent actors and perfect choices for their characters. It's difficult to pick a favorite character as all the interactions and relationships are just perfect. I can't say enough good about this drama, except it's terrible it was canceled after the 6th season. However, give everyone involved with the program credit for putting an ending to the series. Knowing the ending doesn't made a difference with wanting to watch the previous episodes.

Walk-out
1 December 1998
If I was the walk-out type - this film I would have walked out after 15 minutes. I kept thinking it has to get better but it didn't. So I sat there and suffered. Funny it wasn't. A waste of Eddie Murphy, Jeff Goldblum, and Robert Loggia and admission costs.
