The 2021 version of Falling Down!
21 October 2021
What happens when a quiet, work-a-day family man looses it? NOBODY KNOWS!

I haven't laughed so hard and applauded so much at the movies in a LONG time. If you're a fan of a few great one liners and ACTION, do yourself a favor and watch Nobody.

Mediocre scifi horror...
11 September 2021
I won't say that it was awful. It was a bit below average as far as story and special effects.

The sound editing was TERRIBLE. The dialog in many segments were way to soft compared to the level of the ambient sounds and music soundtrack. Not that the dialog was any good to begin with but it may have been a little more enjoyable if I didn't have to keep playing with the volume or going back to replay what was just said.

But the biggest complaint was that I didn't care about the characters. I didn't really care if any of them lived or died. Well... Ok... I liked the crazy old guy...

The Wonder Years (1988–1993)
10/10
Those were the days...
21 March 2013
I remember the first time I watched the Wonder Years. It was amazing. Chronologically, Kevin was 3 years older than I was and it seemed that every episode pulled out another piece of my life and put it up on that TV screen.

Friends, family, love, laughter, life and just growing up and finding myself was an adventure. Watching Kevin grow up brought back so many memories, the Wonder Years will always have a special place in my heart. It's so sad that the storytellers today don't always have the heart that this show did. We could all learn a few lessons from this fantastic program.

Heebie Jeebies (2013 TV Movie)

Wow... LOL... SyFy has done it again!
9 February 2013
This doesn't seem to be a "SyFy Original" but it aired on the SyFy channel's Most Dangerous Night on Television. I have to say, it's yet another stupid horror movie filled with lame dialog, mediocre acting and a creature that had to be one of the worst monsters I've seen since the flood of CGI creatures into the film industry.

Still, for some reason, I enjoyed it. Yeah, there, I said it... I actually enjoyed it... I can't explain why but it made me laugh. While most of the performances and dialog in general was pretty bad, there were a few "one liners" that I thought were funny. One other "plus" was one of the female characters. Cathy Shim's character "Theresa Lim" was pretty hot.

If you're really, Really, REALLY BORED, you might enjoy this movie. If not, load up the NetFlix and find something decent.

What the %@$# was that all about?
23 December 2007
I've always thought that the Simpson's was a slightly better than average animated comedy. Over the years it's had its moments but after the first few seasons, the frequency of these moments declined. Overall, I've always felt that South Park and Family Guy were superior series, but I'm willing to give credit where credit is due. The series was OK.

Now... Let's get to this piece of cr*p that was trying to pass itself off as a comedy. Sorry, but I couldn't find one thing funny. There may have been a moment or two when I rolled my eyes and tried to smile (just to give myself hope that there may be something decent to come). Unfortunately, that never happened. The jokes were so bad that you'd need an IQ lower than your shoe size to think it was funny. But, according to the rating given by the users, I guess there are more of those that I imagined.

In closing, although I consider myself a fan of "stupid humor" as well as slapstick and intellectual humor, I can't say this film qualified as any of them. It was tedious to watch, had no redeeming moments (except the end credits), and was a total waste of time. I would rather have watched Plan 9 from Outer Space.

Fans of terrible horror films REJOICE!!!!
10 September 2007
Warning: Spoilers
Being a fan of bad movies, I was thrilled to find a 3 pack of cr@ppy horror at Best Buy today. The set was cheap and included a terrible film called "the Dark" that I actually remember seeing in the theater.

The remaining 2 were equally as bad. "Creatures from the Abyss" being probably the worst of the bunch. Since they were all bad that isn't saying much. But its stupidity, bad acting, terrible effects and retarded storyline actually made this one a lot of fun to watch. I was rolling on the floor with each new plot development. The discovery of the abandon ship, the missing crew, the realization that there was something terribly wrong!!! It was great!!! Of course, everyone's favorite scene seems to be the sex scene. OMG!! I almost lost it!!! Between that an the "monster cam", I have to say I enjoyed this film a lot.

I am a fan of bad movies so I enjoyed it but in all fairness, I did have to give the movie a 1. IT WAS AWFUL... But if rubbish is your bag, at least rent this one... (YES the BAD pun was intentional)

The Time Tunnel (2006 TV Movie)

Thank You Arnold Veness
20 August 2007
It just so happened that I read Arnold's comments as I was watching the first Season of the Time Tunnel (Original Series). He mentioned that the 2002 Pilot was available on the Second Season DVD. Out of curiosity, I got out my second season and played the episode.

GREAT SHOW. I really enjoyed the updated concept and am sorry that it never became a series. I also noticed that there may be a 2007 series pilot in the making.

I was 7 when the original Time Tunnel aired and was immediately hooked. The concept was original and the stories were interesting. With the lack of good scifi material on television today, I truly hope some TV executive sees these comments and seriously considers bringing back a wonderful series.

There's bad... and then there's REALLY BAD...
28 January 2004
Being a fan of the "Living Dead" genre of films, I thought, despite the awful rating given to this film by my fellow users, I'd give it a chance. (BIG mistake) The acting was nothing short of terrible. The plot, non-existent. The "Matrix inspired" freeze and pan special effect was grossly over used. (pardon the grammar) The insertion of clips from the video game made the action scenes ridiculous and added nothing to the film. If anything it made it a bigger joke than it already was. If that was even possible. And the gore was mediocre at best. From the beginning, I knew this would NOT be one for the DVD collection and as the film went on.. and on.. and on.. it became apparent that I may possibly be watching the worst film since Plan 9 from Outer Space.

Stupid... But I really LOVE stupid....
30 May 2000
This movie is DEFINITELY NOT for everyone. But if you like mindless humor and can sit back and watch a film without trying to analyze every scene, then this movie is for you. It's a bit risque at times and you can't be offended by sex or nudity. But I laughed so hard I walked out of the theater with tears in my eyes. Some of the sight gags where just outrageous. My favorite scene had to be either the old man on viagra or the sex in the frat house. If those descriptions raise your curiosity, then grab a ticket and get ready to laugh.

What can I say? DITTO!!!
15 June 1999
Well... I guess there can be something said for an HBO "free preview"! I caught this film totally by accident during one of HBO's free weekends. I must agree with the other users, that the film did lag a bit in the beginning. But being a Jim Belushi fan, I decided to stick it out. I was NOT disappointed! Although the acting was far from academy award quality, Belushi and a very well written script continued to hold my attention. If you get a chance to catch this one, DO IT! It's really well worth it!
