Well, one thing we’ve definitely learned from The Last Kids on Earth season 3 trailer is that every good time has to come to an end eventually, especially when the world is still being occupied by zombies and monsters that appear to come from nowhere at times. But when the Nightmare King is in town it’s even more obvious that things have definitely taken a turn for the worse since the situation for the survivors is about to become even more dangerous than it’s already been in the past. So far the show has been entertaining to say the least

Chances are that you’ve already got plenty of stuff adding up on your Netflix queue right now, especially with this month’s incredible collection of new content. October has been great for fans of scary media thanks to the addition of all nine episodes of The Haunting of Bly Manor, Adam Sandler’s horror-comedy Hubie Halloween, and the grotesque Rob Zombie flick House of 1000 Corpses. And when you add in the recent selection of classics like Gran Torino, Her and Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls, you’ve got enough to keep you busy for quite a while.
Of course, the streaming platform isn’t done yet and today is packed full of fresh movies and shows for you to sort through, including an often overlooked horror film and a brand new historical legal drama based on a true story.

Bruce Campbell will be the voice of President Richard M. Nixon in an indie thriller and dark comedy set in the Watergate era called “18 1/2” as directed by Slamdance Film Festival co-founder Dan Mirvish, Bugeater Films announced Friday.
The film’s live-action cast was also unveiled and stars Willa Fitzgerald, John Magaro, Vondie Curtis Hall, Catherine Curtin and Sullivan Jones. And alongside Campbell in the voice cast are Ted Raimi as Gen. Al Haig and Jon Cryer as H. R. Haldeman.
“18 1/2” is a historical fiction film about the 18 1/2 minutes of audio erased from President Nixon’s Oval Office voice recording system that led to the unraveling of the Watergate scandal. The sky was the limit when it came to voice casting “The Last Kids on Earth.”
Based on Max Brallier’s graphic novel, the animated Netflix series follows Jack (Nick Wolfhard) and his teenage friends, who spent much of the first season playing video games and zombie-fighting in a post-apocalyptic world that wiped out most of humanity.
Although the first season (and the source material) was primarily focused on Jack’s point of view, Season 2 was a time to open up the world, per the executive producers.
The approach was, “If we could have anyone in the world, who would we have?” Brallier says. They wanted “Star Wars” actor Mark Hamill but thought, “Why would he ever want to do this?”
In order to entice Hamill to voice Bardle, a wise monster who is the leader of the monsters who have taken over the pizza parlor, Joe’s Pizza, they created...

One year ago, Bruce Campbell announced that he was officially retiring from the role of The Evil Dead‘s Ash Williams. In the wake of the cancellation of Ash Vs. Evil Dead, and after thirty-seven years of being bitten, bashed and blown-up by Deadites, he was finally hanging up his chainsaw. At the time, he mentioned that the role of Ash has always been synonymous with physical (and often painful) comedy and as he ages, Campbell simply didn’t feel he could do the part justice like he used to.
But that retirement has seemed kinda busy for a while. It’s been confirmed that Ash is appearing as a downloadable character in Dead by Daylight and there are convincing rumors that he’s set to make an appearance in Mortal Kombat 11, too, both of which would be voiced by Campbell.
But now, it seems that there may be something more substantial on the horizon,...

After crashing the prom with zombies in his screenplay for Gregg Bishop's must-see horror comedy Dance of the Dead (which Daily Dead and friends celebrated in style last year for its 10th anniversary), Joe Ballarini brought the boogeyman (and a whole host of creepy creatures) to life in A Babysitter's Guide to Monster Hunting book series, and the first novel is now being developed as a film at Netflix.
Deadline reports that Rachel Talalay will direct A Babysitter's Guide to Monster Hunting from a screenplay by Ballarini. Like the book, the family friendly film will focus on teenager Kelly Ferguson, who teams up with a secret and highly skilled group of babysitters who moonlight as monster slayers after the child she's watching is abducted by sinister forces.
Tom Pollock, Ilona Herzberg, and Walden Media's Naia Cucukov will executive produce the film, with Walden Media, Montecito Pictures Company, Ivan Reitman,...

Though Mark Hamill has a history of trolling his followers with fake Star Wars: Episode IX reveals, it now looks like he’s finally using his Twitter account to deliver some genuine info about one of his upcoming projects.
Last night, the Luke Skywalker actor shared a message teasing some big news on the way, and the best part is that we only have a few hours to wait before we find out what he’s talking about:
“Major Announcement Tomorrow 6:15pm Pst I’ll be sharing some Very Exciting news about a super-secret project I’ve been working on that’s just…. how can I describe it? Oh, I know! It’s: ‘Uh……… Wow. Just…….Wow.’ #WatchThisSpace”
Naturally, the tweet has been met with plenty of replies from fans hoping for Star Wars news, in which case, Hamill’s labeling of Episode IX as a “super-secret project” would presumably be sarcastic.
