Harry Styles appeared briefly at the end of the 2021 movie ‘Eternals’ as Eros/Starfox and was set to pocket up to $10 million for reprising the role in a spin-off titled “Eros and Pip”, but the project has reportedly been shelved amid Disney’s plans to scale back the various offshoots of the franchise.
“Marvel bosses were openly talking about Harry in a lead role but that talk has cooled. The whole business and Marvel franchise is being rethought. The focus is on creating the biggest projects with the biggest revenues. Harry’s character is a fun and beloved role but it is not realistically the number one choice to get the Marvel franchise bouncing back,” a source told the Sunday Mirror newspaper’s No Filter column, reports acehowbiz.com.

It seems like we’ve been hearing about Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey forever. And now it’s here, the latest attempt to turn childhood favourites like The Banana Splits, The Grinch, and even Heidi into blood-soaked nightmares. And with Pooh being far and away the most popular it’s also been the most hyped and anticipated, even the fact Scott Jeffrey was producing it couldn’t keep me from wanting to see it. And now it’s here and all I can say is “Oh bother!”
Writer/director Rhys Frake-Waterfield actually gets the film off to a great start with an animated segment telling us how Christopher Robin befriended the creatures of the Hundred Acre Wood only to grow up and leave for college,...

Last season, Jen Shah was arrested. She was accused of running a nationwide telemarketing scheme.
To make matters worse, she was accused of targeting senior citizens.
She recently changed her plea to guilty to one count of conspiracy to commit wire fraud, after she maintained her innocence all last season.
Now, Real Housewives of Salt Lake City’s Og Meredith Marks is opening up about Jen Shah’s legal situation.
Season three of the show has started filming and Jen is still part of the cast, a move that her Rhoslc castmate is sharing her opinion on and it’s safe to say that she doesn’t think it’s a good idea.
On an episode of the podcast, No Filter with Zack Peter, Meredith said, “It’s just very risky [to stay on the show] because whether you are guilty or not,...

The Rolling Stones are touring again, this time without their heartbeat, or at least their backbeat.
The legendary rockers launched their pandemic-delayed “No Filter” tour Sunday at the Dome at America’s Center in St. Louis without their drummer of nearly six decades. It was clear from the outset just how much the band members — and the fans — missed Charlie Watts, who died last month at age 80. Except for a private show in Massachusetts last week, the St. Louis concert was their first since Watts’ death.

Nothing stops the Rolling Stones from fulfilling their obligations. The British government couldn’t break them on a wheel, French mobsters and police couldn’t stop them from recording a classic album, and neither heartbreak nor their dear doctor could silence them. The band promised “No Filter,” and the devil would have no sympathy for anything less. After a 16-month pandemic postponement, The Rolling Stones are set to play 13 stadium shows this fall, kicking off Sept. 26 in St. Louis, according to the band’s official website.
“I’m so excited to get back on the stage again and want to thank everyone for their patience. See you soon,” Mick Jagger said in a statement. “We’re back on the road. See you there,” Keith Richards added.
The group’s hands weren’t idle during the lockdown. They recently dropped their The Rolling Stones‘ A Bigger Bang: Live On Copacabana Beach live album and concert film.

Supermodel, actress, activist -- and now burgeoning YouTube star -- Naomi Campbell has signed with longtime multi-channel network Studio71.
Studio71 will work with Campbell to diversify her digital footprint, curate and amplify YouTube content for ad sales, optimize her channel, and foster branded partnerships across YouTube and Facebook.
Campbell joined YouTube in Dec. 2018 and has amassed 440,000 subscribers, maintaining an active presence during quarantine through an interview series called No Filter With Naomi. At the outset of quarantine in March, Campbell's channel was garnering 2 million monthly views. Now in its second season, the No Filter sees Campbell sitting down with luminaries from diverse fields, including Reverend Al Sharpton, Black Lives Matter co-founder Opal Tometi, editor Anna Wintour, and models Adut Akech and Karlie Kloss. Many of the discussions cover racial injustice and seek to amplify black voices.
Matt Barker, Studio71’s senior director of talent relations, will personally oversee Campbell’s digital portfolio.

Quibi, which launched two weeks ago as a mobile-only video streaming app for on-the-go viewing, said it plans to add the ability to “cast” content to compatible TVs next month.
The company, led by founder Jeffrey Katzenberg and CEO Meg Whitman, also announced that its app has been downloaded more than 2.7 million times in the first two weeks. In the first week, according to the company, it hit 1.7 million downloads.
According to analytics company Sensor Tower, Quibi has around 2.3 million downloads to date. The Quibi figure “seems reasonable assuming they are counting all possible installs,” said Sensor Tower head of mobile insights Randy Nelson, which may include re-downloads; installs on multiple devices per Apple or Google account; or iPad downloads of the iPhone-only app.
Meanwhile, it’s worth noting that downloads do not equate to active users, as some of those who downloaded the Quibi app have likely watched very little of the quick-bite content.

Months in the making, new streaming service Quibi has officially debuted. With dozens of new shows to browse, Quibi is flooding its burgeoning audience with options ranging from news hits, to scripted “movies in chapters,” to deeply silly reality shows, and more, more, oh, so much more. It’s far too early to know how well the gamble on countless bite-sized episodes will pay off, especially with the platform offering subscribers a 90 day free trial to start. But on April 6, the day of the launch, Variety chief TV critics Caroline Framke and Daniel D’Addario took some time to explore the app and discuss what Quibi offers — and doesn’t — in the grand scheme of streaming entertainment. (You can find their capsule reviews of 12 of Quibi’s initial offerings here.)

MTV clocked a major win in partnering with controversial YouTube star Tana Mongeau, who launched a digital reality series with the network earlier this year titled No Filter: Tana Turns 21. That series is currently filming its second season, and even spawned another MTV show for Mongeau -- a linear viral video review outing dubbed Bustedness, co-hosted by her husband, Jake Paul.
Now, MTV plans to turn No Filter into a full-fledged franchise thanks to a just-inked pact with Bretman Rock. The outspoken and wickedly funny beauty vlogger will pull back the curtain and showcase an unfiltered side of his life for fans, per a show description from MTV. NBC has handed a put pilot commitment to a single-camera comedy starring British writer-comedian and TV presenter London Hughes. The project hails from Hughes; Insecure co-creator Larry Wilmore; and Universal Television, where Wilmore is under an overall deal.
Penned by Hughes and Wilmore, the untitled comedy, clearly influenced by Hughes’ experience as an English woman in America, centers on London Jones (Hughes), who after getting dumped by her boyfriend in England comes to America to find success, herself and maybe even love.
Wilmore is executive producing via his Wilmore Films alongside Hughes. Wilmore Films’ Candace Rodney is a producer. Universal Television, a division of NBCUniversal Content Studios, is the studio.

Madrid — After years of marked box-office growth, Central American box office dipped 5.6% in 2018, from $144.34 million in 2017, to $136.3 million last year – which is nonetheless almost 50% higher than the regional box office recorded in 2012, according to comScore figures.
Honduras bucked the trend, with 8.5% growth, whereas the biggest drop was recorded in one of the smallest markets – Nicaragua – with a 34.5% fall.
Notwithstanding the dip in admissions, 56 new screens in 14 theaters opened in 2018, headed by Guatemala which bowed 25 new screens at six sites, followed by Costa Rica with 13 new screens, Panama with seven, Honduras with six and El Salvador with one.
Having emerged from decades of instability and war, Central America has prospered in recent years with low inflation rates, rising prosperity, and an increasingly stable middle class, which has fueled cinema-going habits. Nonetheless, box office revenues plateaued in 2017 and the dip in admissions in 2018 places a question mark for the future.
