- TriviaIn most Superman mythos, because blue stars emit more energy than both yellow and red stars, Kryptonians exposed to their radiation receive an exponential power increase.
- GoofsWhen Alex gets a text from Maggie, Maggie gives Alex her new address in National City, including a zip code "44333", That is an Ohio zip code, but it is apparent that National City is supposed to take place somewhere on the West Coast, presumably California. Also, later on in the episode, when Alex is writing Maggie's address down on an envelope, the zip code used is "91604", which is a Los Angeles, California zip code.

Winn Schott: [proudly entering state-of-the-art DEO control room] And this is where the magic happens, my friend. From here, we can monitor and communicate with the Legion Cruiser at any time throughout their entire mission.
Brainiac-5: Incredible.
[clearly unimpressed]
Brainiac-5: You actually rely on this to keep people safe? Mm. This is the technology that backs up Supergirl when she goes into battle?
Winn Schott: Uh... it is... yeah.
Brainiac-5: She is so much braver than I ever knew. I've seen espresso machines with more processing power.
[scoffs]
- ConnectionsFeatures The Philadelphia Story (1940)
These last few episodes have been far from memorable, but definitely solid enough to keep my invested interested. While all of that was going on, Kara got closer to regaining her powers, and Alex babysitted Ruby while Sam/Reign was on 'vacation'. To me, the best way to go about the second half is to involve Reign as much as possible. Rarely last season did we have someone consistently appear on the show that wasn't one of the good guys. The reveal at the end showing Sam's complete unawareness of her actions is a fresh take on a villain, and I'm hoping that it continues to interest me.
I don't really have much insight on the episode tonight as a whole, but it's another solid, serviceable entry into season 3. That's pretty much what I say every week.
