Before the female assassin leaves the bathroom, she turns back to the investigator and says, "Wear it down." And she leaves leaving Sandra Oh appalled that a women just remarked on her hair that shes so indecisive about.
Little does Sandra Oh know that moments before ad she looked at that same women across the bathroom sink, it was the same person she interviewed in the beginning of the episode. Most importantly, if only she knew what the women had committed as she returns to the witnesses room or the bloodbath.
This episode was awesome, just simply special and unique! Its blended dark comedy and the spy genre so well I was so intrigued in this pilot. Thanks to the writers and two lead actresses for bringing out the dialogue that the writers created so brilliantly! Sure, if you read the cat and mouse troupe youd think this series has been done to death, but here I am telling you that this is NOT the case.
I found myself wanting to spend more time with the other lead more as she is much more fascinating and complex of a character. She has a sense of humor that's incredibly haunting yet hilarious but most of all I couldnt take my eyes off of her. She commands the camera when shes in a scene to capture her.
I knew there was much hype surrounding this series but there are still some reviews saying dont believe the hype but for the first episode, the hype is real! If the remaining 7 episodes are anything like the pilot, this will be a breakthrough series of 2018!
The pilot resulted in the "I have to hit the next episode button so I can watch immediately" feeling!
