Had a good time watching this movie. Kept me entertained all throughout. Had a great atmosphere and had some nerdy Easter eggs all the way through. If you want an entertaining movie to watch on a night in recommend this one

Decent movie with a bit of quirk

I didn't know what to expect from this movie, however I was pleasantly surprised. It kept my attention throughout; decent plot / commendable cast. I would definitely recommend this movie if you're looking to kick back after long week of work and watch something that doesn't take itself too seriously

I couldn't even get past the grammar! "There in" instead of "There by" and "Persecuted to the fullest extent of the law" instead of prosecuted...and not said in a way that was meant to be funny. It was very poorly edited as well, with audio prematurely cut in places. I've seen plenty of indy films and even a low budget indy film works a little harder to put out a polished product. A funny premise, but unoriginal--and tries just a wee bit too hard for the funny. If its fresh and funny you are looking for, see "John Dies At the End" instead.

Found this while flipping through Amazon Prime...Free.99 is my favorite price. I agree with what others have said...I quite enjoyed the 50's/60's B-Movie feel to it. Kind of reminded me of a reboot of the Tales From The Crypt TV show (1989-96). Good little movie for a fun watch...
Uncredited ripoff

The opening half is apparently and uncredited copy of the Monster Hunter International book series by Larry Corriea. Add a very low budget to the lack of originality and you have a movie that is...contemptible. Go read the book, you will feel better and have a much better time.

The acting in this movie is as amateurish as you get-with not one actor with any talent.
I surmise that most of the initial ratings were used to boost the IMDB score to 7.6. My vote of 1 star knocked it down to 7.5 if that tells you anything.
The vampire special effects are also juvenile. We filmed better vampire movies 60 years ago.
By the way, there is zero humor. Just attempts at humor.

Surprisingly Funny

I was recommended this movie by a friend (free on amazon, what a steal!). Based on the title and cover photo, i thought it was going to a serious drama, it turned out to actually be light hearted noire comedy. Look past the "low budget restrictions" of the film and you'll find a cast of well developed characters, each with their own unique personalities. The film and dialogue doesn't take itself seriously, while at the same time engages and invested me in the story. Other people are calling it a rip off, but as an individual who hasn't seen every movie or read every book series, I found this movie extremely enjoyable. Just add pizza and beer for a fun movie night at home

This movie has incredible production quality for being an indie film. The actors do a great job of portraying their characters in a fun way. The plot doesn't take itself too seriously and the entire movie was very enjoyable. I recommend this to anyone who likes a fun adventure movie with raunchy humor.

I highly recommend this movie. Very funny and original. I watch lots of movies, so original is hard to find these days. So far, I've watched it twice. I will watch it easily again and again. It's an easy watch. The costumes and sets are great too!

Just when I thought I was burnt out and couldn't stand another cheesy, Twilighty, vampire movie, I finally rented this and it got its fangs in deep! Consistent tears of laughter. It's one of my new favorite movies.The fight with the cat is a favorite of mine. Great production design, great costumes and killer lead!
