The genre specialist has come on board to produce the high-concept horror movie, described as a dark re-imagining of the Pied Piper tale, and is pitching the project to buyers at Berlin’s virtual European Film Market. Terror Films have announced a further worldwide digital expansion for their brand, with its latest partnership with Italian streamer Hodtv. On the heels of direct partnerships with international platforms Horrify (Netherlands) and iFlix (Malaysia), Hodtv will now help position the genre distributor’s content in Italy and surrounding European countries.
The initial launch will consist of three Terror Films’ originals. Terror Films and Hodtv are partnering for at least a three film run. Terror Films continues to release horror films worldwide. Meanwhile, Hodtv provides films within Italian markets and other European countries. The first three films will include some of Terror Film's most popular thrillers, with the launch to roll-out throughout the Summer. The first three films have already been announced. To show soon, Trace will debut on Hodtv. This title stars Nick Fink, in a film about Electronic Voice Phenomenon. Next up, The Chosen will also show on this platform. The Chosen stars Kian Lawley ("Zac and Mia"), in a title about a child-stealing demon. Finally, Terror Film's own production Patient Seven will now show in Italy. This feature is a horror anthology, involving several mental patients and a corrupt psychiatrist. All of these titles will show soon on Hodtv. As well, a promotional trailer was released for Hodtv last year.

Terror Films and BingeWave have teamed-up to release fifteen horror titles, theatrically. The initial slate of titles will include some of Terror Films' best know releases, including: Hell House LLC, The House on Pine Street, Savageland, Night of Something Strange and many others. This partnership will also include some of Terror Films' original productions, like: Trace (2015) and Patient Seven (2017). BingeWave often hosts their releases in New York City and the surrounding areas, with more cities set to show the films at a future date. A full list of films to show through BingeWave is hosted here. Terror Films' President Joe Dain talked about this partnership, recently. Dain said: "this is a fantastic opportunity for our filmmakers to not only have their films screened in a theatrical setting and tap into a new fan base." Now more than ever, there are diverse ways to see indie films on the big screen.

Terror Films is teaming up with horror subscription service Screambox. Together, they will bring dozens and dozens of horror titles to this platform. Screambox is a TV4 Entertainment company, which "promises to deliver the very best in fresh new horror to fans every week and on any device. The first slate of Terror Films' titles to reach the platform include: the found footage masterpiece Hell House LLC (2015), the horror anthology Patient Seven (2016), the indie thriller Dead Body (2016), the behind-the-scenes documentary Unearthed & Untold: The Path to Pet Sematary (2017) and many others. However, a reverend intervenes and gives her a second chance to conquer her demons. Heretiks was directed by Paul Hyett (Howl), from a script written by Gregory Blair (Deadly Revisions) and Conal Palmer (The Seasoning House). Heretiks also stars Michael Ironside (Patient Seven), Clare Higgins (Hellraiser) and Hannah Arterton. This title is expected to have its World Premiere at this year's Frightfest, in London. Fans with a strong stomach can find the eye-popping trailer below. The synopsis for Heretiks begins with Persephone's (Arterton) trial. She is rescued before deliberation by the Reverend Mother (Higgins). However, in an isolated Priory, the spirits of evil continue to pursue Persephone. The Terror Films' slate, which includes: Antidote, Patient Seven, Hell House LLC, House of Purgatory, Unearthed and Untold: The Path to Pet Sematary and Inner Demon, will be available in several, new territories. From South East Asia to the Middle East, Terror Films will make their horror titles available through Video-on-demand. This is a long term partnership. And, more horror titles are expected to launch worldwide, from this production and distribution company. Terror Films is letting the inmates out of the sanatorium! The horror anthology Patient Seven is set to see Redbox rental kiosks, this November 8th. This film consists of seven award winning shorts and a wraparound segment, starring Michael Ironside. A review of Patient Seven is hosted here: A Patient Seven Review on 28Dla. And, the film hosts a lot of thrills and chills, in its two hour run time. Now, indie horror fans, in the United States, can rent a hardcopy of the film, across the country. The film's opening and closing segment "Patient Seven" is a good one. It introduces the protagonist and antagonist Dr. Marcus (Ironside). He is interviewing patients at a mental health hospital. But, his methods are questionable and sadistic. There is an interesting twist in this story, which will not be revealed here. However, some doctors are worse than their own patients. Redbox hosts thousands of locations.

Directors/writers: Danny Draven, Paul Davis, Ómar Örn Hauksson, Dean Hewison, Joel Morgan, Johannes Persson, Nicholas Peterson, Erlingur Thoroddsen, Rasmus Wassberg, Sam Dickson, Richard Falkner, Paul Fischer, Jacey Heldrich, Barry Jay, Brian McAuley, David Steenhoek, Aidee Walker. Patient Seven is a horror anthology, from at fifteen writers and directors. Short films, from around the world, make up this recent outing. Comprised of seven short films and one wraparound, there is a little something here for every horror fan. This film fan enjoyed Ómar Örn Hauksson's take on 28 Days Later (2002), with "Undying Love." These two films are very comparable in costume and shooting style. As well, "The Body," which practically begins the anthology, is especially well written, by Paul Fischer and Paul Davis. The comedic twist is a welcomed surprise.

The horror anthology Patient Seven has just released (Oct. 11th). The film is a combination of seven short films and one wraparound. Starring Michael Ironside, Patient Seven has launched on most major Video-on-demand platforms. As well, a new movie clip has been released for the film, titled "John Doe." All of the latest launch details on Patient Seven are hosted here. This horror fan has just seen Patient Seven. The shorts deal with zombies, vampires, demons and other classic horror monsters. At least two of the short films have come in from the United Kingdom, while others have journeyed from all across the world. Also, the wraparound involves a malicious psychologist, who uses strange desensitization techniques. This leaves many of his interviewees even more traumatized. Many of shorts are enjoyable, while the wraparound offers a great twist! Also, the latest clip shows Dr. Marcus (Ironside) and one of his flooding techniques.

Raven Banner Entertainment and Terror Films have announced a partnership. Raven Banner will distribute at least six horror titles, from Terror Films, in Canada. The initial slate will include films such as: Goddess of Love, House of Purgatory, Unearthed & Untold: The Path to Pet Sematary, Antidote, Hell House LLC and Patient Seven. This is an ongoing collaboration, initiated by Terror Films CEO Joe Dain and James Fler, of Raven Banner. This is good news for horror fans! Here is a quick overview of some of the films.
