When evidence at the morgue is destroyed, suspicion falls on emerging gangs. Holmes believes that identifying a Jane Doe will help him unlock the case, while Watson deals with the reappearance of an old adversary.
Holmes and Watson must search for a killer without any physical evidence to aid them after a bomb is detonated in the New York City morgue. Also, Watson is suspicious when an NYPD detective she's in a grudge match with asks her to consult on a case.
Holmes and Watson are called in when there's an explosion at the morgue. They learn the attendant whom they know was injured and the person who brought in a new body was killed. The attendant says the explosion happened after the new body was placed in storage. They think someone placed a bomb in the body. But why. They initially assume that they were trying to destroy the bodies of some drug dealers who were supposedly killed by a rival. But Holmes who goes to where the body was found learns that another body was found there a few weeks ago. The body was that of a woman who is still unidentified. Eventually they learn the woman is a roller derby queen. They learn she was dealing drugs on the side. But they later learn a man who was mental issues has an obsession for her.
