Kara's dad intrigues, but I'm not a fan of this version of Livewire
This episode actually really excited me because of Dean Cain, the actor who played Superman in Lois & Clark (a show which I like a lot more than this one) and the role his character (Kara's foster dad) played in the story, which intrigued me greatly. In the end, I don't think it was enough to make me care too much about this alright but fairly uninteresting TV show, but it certainly did excite me at least temporarily.
I don't really like how they portrayed Livewire here. Instead of fun and mischievous, she's bitter and angry, and doesn't come across as particularly bright either. She was a villain I enjoyed reasonably well in the Superman Animated Series (and the few comics I read with her in it), so this was disappointing.
