- (6/13/2015) New host segments featuring Sven's redesigned set. The new Sven Song is a parody of "Ta-ra-ra Boom-de-ay". The new segments are presented in widescreen format, while older segments appear in 4:3 full-frame. The segment where Svengoolie suggests candidates to play the Monster's bride is updated, with Miley Cyrus replacing Jessica Alba and Michonne (Danai Gurira) from The Walking Dead (2010) replacing Ugly Betty (America Ferrera from Ugly Betty (2006)). The 13 June 2015 broadcast also included a brief tribute to the recently-departed horror icon Christopher Lee, though that timely piece was not retained in future broadcasts.
- The September 15, 2012, re-broadcast featured a "Sven on the Road" segment at a "Friday Fright Night" promotion at a Joliet Slammers baseball game at Silver Cross Field in Joliet, Illinois.
- The original November 10, 2007, Chicago-region broadcast featured a "Musical Memories" segment from a circa-1983 "Bride of Frankenstein" episode of Son of Svengoolie (1978), showing a musical number parodying The Dixie Cups's "Chapel of Love". The episode's new Sven Song was a spoof of "The Sweet Escape" by Gwen Stefani. This version also featured references to Jessica Alba in Fantastic Four (2005) and the title character in Ugly Betty (2006) which were replaced in subsequent broadcasts (part of the skit where Sven helps Frankenstein's monster cast his Bride from modern-day celebrities).
