- It's the day for Alicia's televised debate with Frank Prady and after a slow start she does quite well. The mood in the city has taken a turn owing to a jury verdict that cleared the police in the shooting death of a black man. Peter Florrick is outraged that the city's mayor has conveniently gone off to an out-of-town convention and it's evident that the police are going to use force to keep the peace, which Peter and others believe will only makes thing worse. Back at the office, Cary is reintegrating while they represent ChumHum owner Neil Gross in divorce settlement negotiations with his wife who is represented by David Lee. Negotiations don't go well and after Gross fires them, Diane and Cary make a major decision - without consulting Alicia.—garykmcd
