Storyline
Did you know
- TriviaWhen Iris asks Flash his real name, he replies, 'You mean, like Ralph?'. This is a nod to a scene in Superman (1978) when Lois first meets Superman. She asks if he has a first name. Superman replies, 'You mean, like Ralph, or something?'
- GoofsWhen Detective Joe West and three SWAT members try to arrest Bivolo in the storage facility, West orders one SWAT member to handcuff Bivolo. He starts to move towards Bivolo and is shown doing so when the camera angle changes. After the angle change, to show West, the SWAT member whom we saw move towards Bivolo is still standing next to West, where he was before he started to move.
- Quotes
Felicity Smoak: How'd it go with Oliver?
Barry Allen: You know, to be honest, not exactly the partnership I thought it would be.
Felicity Smoak: Oh, did he really do the thing with the arrows?
Barry Allen: [exasperated] You knew he was gonna shoot me?
Felicity Smoak: Well, it is practically impossible to tell when Oliver's making a joke.
- Crazy creditsThe Flash logo has an arrow going through it and it snaps shut with a green bolt of lightning. This is a reference to the crossover with Arrow.
- ConnectionsFeatured in DC's Legends of Tomorrow: Their Time Is Now (2016)
The freak of the week is potentially interesting, but he's too underdeveloped, having to share time with not only the Arrow stuff, but a rather unnecessary side plot involving the police station being taken hostage. The highlight is obviously the Flash/Arrow confrontation, but after Barry is cured he and Arrow make nice and vow to go get the freak of the week... which we don't get to see. The next scene is literally them walking into S.T.A.R. labs and putting him in a cell. Huh? But despite the misuse of the villain and the excess side plot, the Arrow/Flash stuff is strong enough to carry this episode over the top.
