Treehouse of Horror 25 is a fantastic Simpsons episode with three very well written segments that can easily be compared to the Halloween specials of the earlier seasons and i'm not exaggerating when I say that. The opening was a funny parody of several celebrities but it wasn't anything too special, followed by the School is Hell segment, which was very funny but it made me feel like it was going to be another average Halloween episode as it wasn't anything too special. However, the following two segments are what made this episode so outstanding,A Clockwork Yellow is a very loving tribute to A Clockwork Orange as well as several other Stanley Kubrick classics,as well as a hilarious scene parodying the fussy director himself. This part was without a doubt my favourite because you could tell from the way it was written that the writers really loved this film and they were parodying it truly because they were fans and not because its popular, which is how I felt about several of their parodies, such as the Transformers and Twilight ones. The final segment was without a doubt an unforgetful five minutes,it feels like a crossover even though we are really just seeing the Simpsons of today meeting the Tracey Ulman show versions. It was such a treat to watch all these ten characters together and see how much they have changed in personality, voice and drawing over the years.Treehouse of Horror 25 is one of the best Halloween specials they've ever done and one of the best episodes in years, all three segments were fresh, funny and original.
Bart starts attending a school in Hell,Moe,Homer,Lenny and Carl start causing crime as a group through Springfield and the Simpsons are haunted by some very familiar ghosts.
