Aplauso (27-3-82)
Aplauso was a music series on TVE, run 9 July 1978 to 1 January 1983 on Saturday evenings in 2 hours long. The series filled big gap, and wanted to be an example for everyone especially in the young persons' eye. Also wished to reveal and spread the minority music, its innovators and that commercial music what the selling lists showed. The reformation of the program was demanded of 1981 so more were the living broadcast for the young.
Episode 185 Other guests on this episode were:- Interview Yurí 'Este amor ya no se toca' Rock of TV - Aneka 'Japanese Boy' Zombies - 'La muralla china' Sergio Fachelli -'Que mas quieres de mi' Paloma San Basilio -'La hiedra', 'Libre', 'Tanto, tanto' ABBA - closing the programme
All four ABBA members are interviewed together. The atmosphere between them is terrible. Frida and Benny's body language is miles apart whereas Agnetha and Björn look comfortable in each other's presence. Frida especially seems very sad in this interview and Benny comes across as irritable. I suspect it must have been a very emotional time for Frida as Benny had recently become a father again (to Ludvig). The PROMOs to No Hay A Quien Culpar (introduced by Benny), Head Over Heels (introduced by Frida) and One Of Us (introduced by Agnetha) are shown. Björn gives a message in Spanish at the end of the clip. The presenter was Jose Luis Uribarri.
