Baldur’s Gate 3, since its release, has taken players on a thrilling journey through the Forgotten Realms. The game has an engaging story that varies with each player’s choices and can even lead to the character’s dying.
But amidst the dragons, wizards, and epic battles, there’s a surprising twist – romance options that delve into the realms of the strange and otherworldly. One such option? Romancing a Mind Flayer. Even the actors were flustered in bringing these unconventional romance scenes to life.

Elden Ring was the pinnacle of Soulslike games and it is about receiving the expansion it deserves. Shadow of the Erdtree is scheduled to be released later this year and the gaming community is excited but can’t help but feel a little disappointed about one missing feature.
Trophies and achievements can be great bragging rights to the community and it is the perfect way to display a player’s skill and dedication. The developers have opted not to give the upcoming expansion any more new trophies that most players are looking forward to.
The Elden Ring Expansion Will Not Have Any New Trophies Trophies and achievements can be a massive deal-breaker for some Elden Ring players.
FromSoftware has shared a few previews for the upcoming expansion and the gaming community has succumbed to the temptations of watching it after pledging to avoid any new Elden Ring content before the release.

The world of Elden Ring is vast and mysterious. While we learn of many events, locations, and people as we progress through the story, we do not have first-hand experience with each. FromSoftware’s defining feature is creating lore that spans uncountable years before the events the player experiences.
Among these mysteries is the demigod and Empyrean Miquella. The offspring of Radagon and Marika, and brother to Malenia, we hear many mentions and stories of the demigod but never see him within the game. Shadow of the Erdtree might change that as we embark on a quest to find him.
Will Elden Ring Players Meet the Youthful Demigod in the Dlc? The Empyrean will be a central character in the Elden Ring Dlc.

Few names carry as much weight in the gaming business as Hidetaka Miyazaki’s. The mastermind behind critically acclaimed titles like Bloodborne and Elden Ring, Miyazaki has established a reputation for creating immersive and, frankly, difficult gaming experiences.
However, a recent revelation from the legendary developer has shed light on the often-overlooked game that played a key role in shaping his approach to game design: Armored Core.

When FromSoftware released Elden Ring back in 2022, it took the gaming world by storm, all thanks to its beautiful art design, intriguing open world, and, most crucially, challenging combat. The game was beloved by critics and fans alike, so much so that Elden Ring managed to snatch the title of the most-awarded game in history. Since then, we’ve seen tons of players enjoying FromSoftware’s popular masterpiece by testing its wide array of classes and taking on bosses in new ways.
However, one Elden Ring fan has managed to take this tradition to another level by defeating the final boss characters of the game, Radagon of the Golden Order and the Elden Beast, in an incredible one-minute timeframe! There’s no doubt that it’s truly a massive achievement, but the player’s incredible feat has caused outrage among players, who are now asking for a nerf to the...

Armored Core 6, the latest installment in the iconic mech series by FromSoftware, marks a significant departure from the studio’s recent Soulsborne titles like Bloodborne and Dark Souls. Elden Ring is the peak of Soulslike games and FromSoftware has more in store for the players to see for the upcoming expansion. First looks are bound to be released and the gaming community caught their first glimpse of a boss fight in Shadow of the Erdtree and it is impressive.
The developers know the importance of leaving a good first impression and the gaming community was blown away by a fraction of what they have in store. Most players would want to savor the experience by avoiding entering spoiler territory but the preview was too good to pass up.

Over the past decade, Japanese developer FromSoftware has established a name for itself with its dark, punishing action RPG titles, culminating in its most recent award-winning entry, Elden Ring. However, what you might be surprised to know is that before such games saw the light of the day, FromSoftware was a developer known for its popular Armored Cored series, which debuted in 1997.
FromSoftware’s brand of dark, doomy, mystery-laden games has undoubtedly defined an entire generation of gamers. However, many players have wondered why the Japanese developer stuck to this particular style for its games. In an interview, FromSoftware’s Hidetaka Miyazaki finally shared why he and his teams tend to bring stories that bring players into apocalyptic worlds.

It’s been over two years since the launch of Elden Ring, and we’re finally just weeks away from the game’s first and only expansion, Shadow of the Erdtree. With all the glimpses we’ve been given so far, it’s clear that FromSoftware hasn’t spent all that time basking in the accolades of its first open-world adventure. Hidetaka Miyazaki and his team have been working hard, and this will be their biggest and most ambitious Dlc ever.
Judging by the hands-on preview right ahead of the Dlc’s launch, which many in the community got to enjoy, it’s fair to say that there are many things to be excited about. We’re bound to see more bosses, areas, weapons, and spells, but one particular feature has caught everyone’s eye that will certainly make the game even more difficult for strength builds.

FromSoftware released its open-world RPG Elden Ring back in 2022, and though it was highly anticipated, no one in the gaming industry could have expected just how earth-shattering it would become. Upon its release, it was praised for its immense enemy variety, boss designs, and stunning open world. Continuing off the success of previous Dark Souls and Bloodborne titles, Elden Ring is the ultimate culmination of everything FromSoftware has learned in the past decade, with the title all set to become even more exciting this month.
Elden Ring is ready to receive its first and only expansion, Shadow of the Erdtree, this month, and fans eagerly anticipate their chance to return to The Lands Between. While it’s confirmed that we’ll see new bosses, weapons, areas, and features, the Dlc is all set to replace the troublesome Grafted Scion with a boss that’s more deadly than Fire Giant.

So far it’s been difficult to talk about the size of Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree without coming to two conclusions. One is….well, phrasing, and the other is how much we simply still didn’t know about the game. FromSoftware has a history of deceiving players when asked such questions about their games. Call them modest or illusive, but the studio tends to undersell the scope of their projects.
Well, now that multiple people have gotten the chance to play a few hours of the upcoming Dlc, we can safely say that Shadow of the Erdtree is a massive Dlc release that is closer to being Elden Ring 2 than many people thought.
The earliest estimates suggest that Shadow of the Erdtree can be in 25-35 hours depending on skill level and build optimization. Please note, though, that is both a very early estimate based on incomplete data...

The first round of Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree previews are starting to drop, and they have already revealed a ton of new info about the 2022 Game of the Year‘s previously mysterious Dlc. While FromSoftware is still keeping a lot of info under wraps at this time, we now know much more about the Dlc’s size, changes, difficulty (Spoilers: it’s hard), and even story than we did before.
However, the most fascinating information to emerge from those previews may be the first substantial details of the Dlc’s eight new weapon types. Here’s a breakdown of each of those new weapon types and what you can expect from them.
Beast Claws
A close-combat melee weapon, Beast Claws function largely as you’d expect them to. That is to say that they enable you to do your best Wolverine impression by launching yourself at an enemy,...

In an open-world game, one element that consistently captures the player’s attention is the NPCs. Among these, it’s the ones that react to your actions or your choices are the one that stands out the most. The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim was released 13 years ago and it was one of the first to incorporate the reactive NPCs.
Todd Howard, director of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, wanted to make the characters in the game respond to the player’s appearance, dialogues, and actions. By setting this trend, he created a benchmark that even the likes of Hidetaka Miyazaki’s Elden Ring may have taken note of.

For years, fans have clamored for a Bloodborne PC release, hoping to experience the hauntingly beautiful world of Yharnam with enhanced graphics and smoother gameplay. However, as much as we love Bloodborne, the truth is, PC gamers already have access to plenty of titles that scratch the same gaming itch – albeit without satisfying the ‘exclusivity’ factor that Bloodborne continues to maintain.
Here are five reasons why a Bloodborne PC release isn’t as necessary as you might think!
Reason #1: Dark Souls III (2016) Facing a fiery dragon in Dark Souls III | Image via FromSoftware
Dark Souls III, another well-known masterpiece from Hidetaka Miyazaki and FromSoftware, offers a dark and challenging experience that is quite similar to Bloodborne. With its intricate level design, hard-core combat, and deep lore, Dark Souls III provides a satisfying alternative. The game’s gothic atmosphere and relentless difficulty will make any Bloodborne fan feel right at home.

Building upon the basic principles of developer FromSoftware’s previous cult hit games, Elden Ring brings players an exquisitely absorbing fantasy. Everywhere you go, there’s always something alluring, or something that can obliterate you, or both. There’s no doubt that exploring and slowly conquering this masterwork feels like an achievement.
One of Elden Ring’s most striking aspects was the involvement of Game of Thrones writer George R.R. Martin. While many reports in the past have suggested that Martin played a major role in crafting the universe of the Elden Ring, it seems like Hidetaka Miyazaki was the one who gave us this beautiful universe all along.

Almost a year before Starfield‘s release, Todd Howard talked about the decision to sacrifice certain graphical aspects in a game, including a 60 Fps experience, for player agency. And a year later, Starfield launched with a 30 Fps cap on Xbox consoles. It has been eight months since the game’s release, and while the game enjoyed all the hype around its release, this decision came under scrutiny.
Ever since the game was announced at the Xbox Showcase, there were constant discussions about Bethesda’s decision to cap the game at 30 Fps. The creative choice made by the developers sparked a lot of controversial debates.

The recent PlayStation State of Play showcased several original titles, with Where Winds Meet being one that stood out to many. While everyone is waiting for Elden Ring’s upcoming Dlc this month, the Soulslike genre is growing at a rapid rate, with new entrants popping up almost every month.

Elden Ring, like many other Soulsborne titles, has multiple stats that you can level as you gain enough in-game currency. With so many choices, people often debate about what the best stat is to level, and it can get quite heated.
Following a recent argument on the subject, it seems like the debate might finally be settled. If you’re preparing to take on bigger challenges in Shadow of the Erdtree, this is the one stat you’d absolutely want to have leveled sufficiently.
Which Elden Ring Skill is the Best to Level? Knowing what to level can make or break your Elden Ring run.
The whole debate started on X/Twitter (as is customary with heated debates) when user @Peeverson tweeted that Elden Ring beginners should prioritize leveling vigor (health) over other stats. This seemed to anger some people, which Peeve clapped back on.

Incantations in Elden Ring are a returning feature from previous Souls titles, similar to Miracles, but with a few changes. With these, players can cast multiple spells to attack, defend, and enhance, depending on their situation. Incandinations are dependent on Faith stat, and occasionally Intelligence, and Arcane.
The developers have worked hard to balance out the powerful effects of Incantations. However, one YouTuber seems to have found the most overpowered Incantation in Elden Ring, which game director Hidetaka Miyazaki needs to balance before Shadow of the Erdtree‘s release.

Malenia, the Goddess of Rot, is one of the toughest bosses in the game and can carve anyone’s health in just a few strikes. Her signature Waterfowl Dance attack marks instant death for anyone unprepared. What’s worse is that she heals herself with each hit.

The end of Red Dead Redemption 2 leaves many players with mixed emotions, particularly regarding the transition from Arthur Morgan to John Marston. One common frustration is the change in atmosphere and activities when the game’s focus shifts to John.
The gang’s camp, full of lively interactions and a sense of community, is replaced by the more solitary and mundane life on the ranch, and feels like a downgrade. The rich character interactions and daily routines that made the gang camp feel alive are sorely missed in the quieter ranch setting, making the epilogue somewhat anticlimactic.
