Episode starts with the same line as the beginning of the Coen brothers movie "No Country For Old Men". Tommy Lee Jones opening line in the movie is "I was sheriff of this county when I was 25 years old. Hard to believe." The same as Jon Hamm's line in the show.
Ole Munch is a Norwegian name and is pronounced O-LAY MONK not OLD MUN-CH as stated by Sheriff Tillman.
Nadine Bump changed her name to Dorothy Lyon, normally referred to as "Dot". She is consistently referred to as a Tiger, first by Ole Munch. This is a direct referral to Glenn's wife in the movie "Raising Arizona," "Dot," played by Francis McDormand. In the scene where Glenn tries to talk Hi into wife swapping he refers to her as a Tiger, he even spells it out.
