- Amid the arid landscape of Rajasthan, a dreamy-eyed young woman battles to prove her mettle whilst navigating through cultural stereotypes.
- Faltu is a girl who comes from a village in Ittarpur where girls are considered (just like her name) useless. Faltu's father had taken a loan. Faltu plans on taking the load of the loan off her father and proving that daughters are not useless. She has a keen interest in Cricket and is quite good at the sport too. Ayaan is a man who loves Cricket and had even been selected to play for the country. His father wanted him to take care of the family business instead so he had to give up on his dream. Ayaan notices Faltu's skills in Ittarpur and helps her escape a forced marriage so that she can pursue her dream of being on the women's Cricket team in Mumbai. In order to keep his business from jeopardizing and bringing his family into debt, Ayaan's father tells him to marry Tanu. As the wedding progresses Ayaan and Faltu start to realize that they might have feelings for each other. On the day of Ayaan's wedding, Faltu gets kidnapped by the man who she was originally supposed to marry and in the process she ends up getting married to Ayaan who has no idea about this due to being unconscious. Faltu decides to keep this a secret and distance herself from him and his family. With many characters and situations trying to separate the two, will they ever be able to share their feelings with each other. The story is about how Faltu achieves her dream by surpassing many societal hurdles with Ayaan's guidance and how these two people from completely different backgrounds who share a common interest in cricket will fall in love with each other.
