Benny Rubin promotes a wrestling match between Tom Kennedy and Konstantine Romanoff. However, Kennedy eats a big meal just before the match, and proceeds to fall asleep in his room. Rubin has to go on in his place.
It's directed by Ralph Ceder, an old-time comedy director who is probably best remembered for directing several of Stan Laurel's worst movies about ten years earlier. Sound seems to have revived his career, and the combination of gags and Rubin's frenetic activities gives this one a good deal of fun in a messy but silly match. Jerry Mandy offers some nice pratfalls as the referee who gets caught up in the match.
